Living at Marine Club Apartments was an absolute nightmare, and the leasing office staff—especially Jennifer Rapel and James—made everything ten times worse. I originally signed the lease with my ex. When he moved out, we BOTH went to the leasing office in person. He even provided written documentation stating he was leaving and would not be on the lease anymore. Jennifer looked me straight in the face and told me I “qualified on my own” and that I was “all good.” I trusted her. BIG mistake. Later on, I found out none of it was handled correctly. Their sloppy, careless communication caused problems that should’ve never existed. It was unprofessional from start to finish. And then there’s James. Every single time I asked for a simple update about my security deposit, he caught an attitude, like me wanting information about MY OWN MONEY was somehow a problem for him. Completely disrespectful and unnecessary. Even my apartment was falling apart. As you can see, CHUNKS of drywall were falling from the ceiling completely getting all over my personal belongings. I’m surprised I didn’t get led poisoning. I brought this too both Jennifer and James attention but they didn’t even seem to care. Between the lies, the attitude, and the incompetence, this place wore me OUT. If you value your time, money, or sanity, do yourself a favor and RUN in the opposite direction. Living here is nothing but stress.

I moved out and was sent a bill. I didn’t understand bc I had just paid them. I contacted the office numerous times via email, phone and even an in person visit. I received numerous assurances they would call to resolve the billing. I just got my security deposit back and there is basically no money left on it. They deducted that bill plus tons of arbitrary fees from my SD wo my permission. I was awaiting a call back so I could pay what was owed (if anything) then receive a full SD. Thieves
