I rarely leave reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience so others don’t go through what I did. Living at this apartment complex was one of the most stressful housing experiences I’ve ever had. From the start, management was unresponsive and dismissive whenever serious issues were reported. Son our leasing agent was the worst of all, when touring the place he introduced himself as some type of landlord, so I thought it was okay to go to him for ongoing issues as Maintenance concerns were either ignored, delayed for unreasonable lengths of time, or “temporarily fixed” without actually resolving the problem. When we first toured we were shown a beautiful apartment that made us excited to live there unfortunately someone else put in a deposit but son told us they had one identical to it and if we put the deposit down we could possibly get it (pending credit checks and whatnot) anyways we get the place and it’s not at all like the one we toured. We couldn’t back out as this was now our living situation. The interior was honestly a joke. Our dryer was from the 80’s and no I’m not being overdramatic it was literally from the 80’s. There was black mold growing in the bathroom and when we reported it, it literally got painted over. There was painters tape under the kitchen counters that had not been peeled off the bathroom mirror literally shook and was not hung properly and parts of it were painted over. There was not any weather stripping for the front door and there were random pins that were poking out of the apartment carpet stabbing your feet and would occasionally make them bleed. It also says it’s non-smoking but our downstairs neighbors were constantly smoking and stinking up the place same with our front downstairs neighbors as well. the grounds were disgusting filled with dog poop and they are constantly doing construction. Anyways, later on a couple months in our lease our washer broke and it took them almost 4 months to fix it and we were not given a key to another apartment until I finally had enough and went into the leasing office but when I did Son told me to stop coming in and that i needed to take it up with matenince even though when we toured he had previously introduced himself as a landlord (I had been trying multiple different times and put in over 30 requests for the washer) at that point I just literally started to cry. I had no clean clothes and was having to wash my clothes at my place of work. I went in the next day when I saw son wasn’t in and Kaitlyn immediately apologized and was confused as to why we didn’t get a key to a different unit in the first place and said she was going to follow up on this and within the next couple days the matenince team FINALLY came by and said yea you need a new one which took them 3 weeks to install and get there. Communication was a constant issue — emails and calls often went unanswered unless it involved payment. When I raised legitimate concerns, I was made to feel like a nuisance rather than a tenant simply asking for safe and livable conditions. The environment itself was not well maintained. Ongoing issues made the apartment feel unsafe and uncomfortable, and despite repeated attempts to get help, nothing was handled with urgency or care. The stress of constantly having to follow up, document problems, and advocate for myself took a serious toll. What made this experience especially upsetting was the lack of accountability. There was no ownership taken for ongoing problems, no empathy shown, and no effort to make things right. I paid my rent on time and upheld my responsibilities as a tenant, yet did not receive the same level of professionalism or respect in return. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this complex to look elsewhere. A home should be a place of peace and security — unfortunately, this was the opposite.

I just wanna say how amazing and wonderful this experience has been. From the moment Kaitlyn said hello, she was respectful, kind and funny as hell. Moving is stressful and especially with everything going on in the world, it's even harder to find decent places to live. I immediately fell in love with Monte Vista and the pictures don't do it justice. It's beautiful, feels tucked into the woods while also incorporating city life. I'm in my late 20s and money is tight, as it has been for a long time and my credit is abysmal. So if you are worried, the least you can do is still try to apply. Working with Kaitlyn was an awesome experience and she genuinely cares about helping people. We got a great tour, picked the unit we wanted and even got a cute little goodie bag just for moving in. It may sound small but in the grand scheme of things this can make or break if you want to move somewhere. If you are on the fence or not sure, MOVE HERE. They have an indoor pool which is already a plus, ample parking and a wonderful office team. Thank you for such an amazing experience and I look forward to my new future home!

Paper thins walls and disgusting common areas. The pool and hot tub are unusable due to the gunk buildup. Maintenance is virtually nonexistent. Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy.
