My tour of this place was so awful that I felt like I had to leave a review. First off, I called the office to schedule a tour for a Sunday, the office person scheduled me for a 10:15 AM appointment. The day comes and I go there and there’s nobody there. I called twice and left a voicemail with no answer. This is because they aren’t actually open till 12 PM on Sundays so I don’t know why they scheduled me and my fiancé for 10:15 AM. I called again twice around 12 PM to see if I could tour the place and they didn’t answer, so me and my fiancé drove over to see if we could get our tour. I met with a lady who let me know that she was 30 mins late to coming in, and that she doesn’t usually work at this apartment complex normally and was just cover, and the reason I got mis-scheduled is because they have had people covering the office that didn’t communicate well. We toured a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom and a 2 bed 2 bath. The 2 bed 1 bath was a model unit that upon walking in, it smelled like cigarettes. They told me that they can’t really do anything about people smoking in the apartments. When walking to the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom, there were tons of trash bags in front of all the apartments. I asked about this, and they said they have a Valet garbage pick up and they haven’t been picking it up because of the holidays. It made the place look awful and sketchy. The person giving the tour kept getting lost, we literally had to point out how to get back to the leasing office, and at the person also attempted to convince us to tour a different apartment complex that she shared that she use to work for. The layout of both apartments was nice but not work how awful the management and the property is.

I’ve lived here for 6 years and this management is the worst. Terrible communication. Unorganized staff. No one knows anything about whats going on with anything. We can call and email multiple times and won’t hear back for weeks.

It's been 3 months or more that I've been talking about this problem, but they never managed to fix it; the excuse is always that they're going to resolve it, but they never do.

Initially sent a maintenance request for my kitchen cupboards because the hinges kept falling out of the wood. This turned into having to get ALL of my cupboards In my bathroom and kitchen completely redone even though my unit was recently renovated in the past few months, but Cedar Crest made it look great on the outside but absolutely horrible on the inside due to water damage that should have been dealt with from the beginning before I moved in or the unit was renovated. Adrian with maintenance was helpful & emphasized that I deserve to be getting what I’m paying for & he initiated all the cupboards getting redone. However Adrian’s “best guys” came in & did a pretty poor/average job. Adrian backed them up saying that they did what they could in one day, considering this type of work should take a whole week. That’s exactly the problem, I’d rather have something done CORRECTLY & take a bit longer instead of doing a below average, rushed job in one day. After 2 weeks of this chaos of the workers having to come back multiple times to fix things, (I think) everything is finally resolved. After the last painter came by, I found drops of paint IN my cats water bowl & thank GOD my cats are fine or else we’d have a much bigger problem on our hands. Overall, almost all of the people involved were trying to do this as fast as possible, without paying attention to the small details & it was frustrating to have to consistently advocate for myself & my apartment to be made a priority instead of just doing the bare minimum. I appreciate Adrian’s understanding & effort throughout this entire process, he was picking up the pieces from everyone else & I’m grateful he took the initiative & was understanding & did what he could to make this place worth living in.
