- ANA NDec 20, 20251.0I lived at this apartment community for four years. I paid a refundable deposit in my original contract, but the refundable deposit was not included in my renewal contract. Before turning in the keys, I spent an entire weekend cleaning the apartment, and then another full weekend professionally washing and cleaning all carpets. I returned the unit in significantly better condition than when I moved in. Despite this, my security deposit was not returned, and I was additionally charged $350 after move-out. I have never experienced treatment like this in any of my previous leasing experiences. This situation was extremely disappointing and unfair. Extremely shady business here… Be careful.

The units were full of roaches, and despite multiple complaints, nothing was ever resolved. Management was consistently rude, unprofessional, and operated in a very shady way when it came to charges and communication. Be aware before signing a lease here — the headaches are not worth it.

I understand i have to pay, however what I do not understand is how they evict me and give me THREE days to move out WHILE 9 MONTHS PREGNANT. I cannot move or lift anything. I don't understand why they cannot give me until the end of Oct, a week away, to move out. Oak place has zero heart or morals. My lease is up in one month, too.
