  Chris, Elyse, and everyone at Gateway Mortgage are ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ people!! We are first-time homebuyers living out of the country. They made it seamless for us and worked overtime to help us settle into our new home. We couldn’t recommend them enough! Thank you, Chris and the team!

  Do not trust this company. They are friendly to deal with but highly incompetent. For example, they failed to pay our taxes from escrow for the first two years, until the county threatened to take our house and we contacted Gateway. Fine. Mistakes happen. Our mortgage went up 25% immediately, partly to cover the late taxes. We were told that we would not have to pay the late fees. However, after contacting the county assessor and asking them how much we owe and how much the fines were, Gateway is indeed billing us for the fines for their mistake. We’ve gotten three different escrow analyses, all different with hugely different payments. Anytime I call, I have to be transferred to another section that handles that problem, and haven’t been able to get anyone to help, only been on hold.

  Without an appointment and from out-of-state, I walked into Gateway Mortgage in Norman, OK on a Friday morning in July. I needed a pre-approval letter so I could get a real-estate agent to show me homes in the area. I got my pre-approval letter and, exactly four weeks later, I settled on a glorious new brick home. Many thanks to Kathy and Gateway Mortgage - a great place to do business.

  Great experience! Gateway was very flexible and communicative. Our loan officer, Chris Doke, was great, and we even managed to close a week early on our first house. We had talked with a few other lenders around Norman, and Gateway was by far the best!

  Gateway did a wonderful job getting me into my first home! Del Pedlow was fantastic throughout the entire process and really went above and beyond to make sure I was staying informed and so much more. We couldn't be more grateful!
