I love all the events that happen including the food trucks (those are my favorite)!! Definitely would recommend if you looking for an apartment!

I wanted to wait until after I moved out of Steadman's to leave a review. I have lived at Steedman's for 3 years. 1. Size of living space and accommodations. I moved in by myself into one of the 2 bed, 1 bath on the second floor. This was a good size for a bedroom and an office space/ guest bedroom. Second floors do not have in-unit laundry hookups, which seems fine since they have laundry units you can pay for on the first and third floor. Unfortunately the first floor washer doesn't connect to the phone app to pay and was always covered in dog hair. So I would always use the 3rd floor until that broke down and was unusable for 4 months. Some others have had this experience in other buildings as well. There's also the gym area which looks small, but thankfully there was plenty of room to workout even with other people in there. It also has a restroom and water fountain. When I first moved in, I was told that they planned on building a pool after they finished building 3 new complexes. It seems that the extra complexes took longer to build than a year and there doesn't seem to be a pool being built any time soon. Might be a contracting thing. 2. Maintenance. Since I moved in, Maintenance responded to requests in a timely order. Haven't had any issues and they were always friendly. 10/10 for them. 3. Office staff. Since I moved in 3 years ago there have been a lot of changes with staff. In the beginning it seemed there were new people every month. Only recently have I noticed the staff have been here a little bit longer. The staff have always been friendly but are not very organized. I've called multiple times during hours with no response but instead had better results getting answers I needed by stopping into the office. Unfortunately the staff is not always aware of what's going on which has caused some issues. For example, the fire alarms were being tested and we received emails after the fact they were tested to let us know they were testing fire alarms. People with pets didn't like this. (I was one of them since it caused my cat to be spooked the next couple of days.) 4. Price of the apartment. Thankfully since I had been there for 3 years and was locked in with a low rate. I am not sure how much higher per month the apartments are now. With the apartments being fairly new, I would say the price is fair. Granite countertops have been a plus, and I was facing the pond side so the sunsets were very nice. Even with the highway in view, it's not too loud so long as you keep the windows closed. Over time you tune out the highway anyway. The monthly pet fee doesn't make much sense considering you have a security deposit that will cover any damages done to your apartment but it's also standard practice for apartments nowadays. Most times you can hear your neighbors above or below you but people are mostly quiet in this area. The location is very nice since you are right next to the highway to go anywhere and you can also walk to Kroger on a nice day. There's also a couple nearby parks and you are not too far from the library. 5. Moving out. I had received a list of what needed to be cleaned when I went to the office to notify them of us leaving. Everything was pretty standard moving out. The only thing was the office calling in the midst of us leaving claiming there was a bird's nest and they needed to come through the apartment to take it down. There wasn't a bird's nest and neither was there one at any of the neighbors' balconies so that was pretty weird. We just had a bunch of boxes everywhere so it wasn't a big deal, just weird. Moving out otherwise, we had no issues. Hope this review helps anyone who isn't sure they want to either move to the area or spend a lot for these apartments. Honestly, I didn't mind living here these last 3 years since the people are friendly and it's been very convenient. Though I need to find somewhere with more space. Otherwise I probably would have stayed for another year. Even with some of the downsides of living here, overall it was a good experience.
