Overall, our experience with Putle has been very underwhelming. There has been countless amount of issues with our house and every issue we run into, it takes weeks, if not months to get corrected. During the build process, our construction manager was great - everything went well, he worked with us on any concern that we had and the house was finished on time. We couldn't have been happier.
However, post construction Pulte has been absolutely awful. Our upstairs bedrooms are a good 10-15 degrees hotter in the summer and colder in the winter. It took 5 months of us constantly pressuring Pulte to finally take action and get something done - and it's still an issue a year later. Our entire street has the same issue and Putle is refusing to do what is right to correct it.
We had settling in our yard (expected) and I gave Pulte 2 months notice that we were getting irrigation installed. They sat on their hands and did nothing for 3 months and then fixed the settling, only to destroy my irrigation system and then not want to fix it in the name of "we didn't install it". I had to fight back several times to finally get them to pay to fix it.
We have had a leaking sound coming from out upstairs hall bath that was flagged over a year ago and to this day, it seems to magically fall off their list of things to fix.
Our walls/trim along the stairs were so wavey that I could surf off of them and the original fix was caulking the gaps on the trim. We again had to push back and get a correct fix that resulted in lots of drywall work and taking off the base boards. It's been 3 weeks of exposed nails along the wall and baseboards laying on the floor with exposed nails, and still nothing is finished. I've flagged that we have two little kids in the house and at this point, we don't even get a response.
The doors to our office are falling apart and 8 months ago, it was flagged for replacement and still no new doors.
It's been 3 months since we had our 1 year walk through, in which Pulte was supposed to get everything on the list fixed and we are only half way through the process (magically the remaining things keep falling off the list). It's taken almost as long to fix these issues as it did to build the entire house.
Leadership is completely MIA, our contact emails once a week at this point and his emails don't make any sense and is always missing things.
The only way we seem to be able to get something done is if we stay persistent and ultimately get quotes ourselves and force Pulte to pay for it. Again, we have to do all the leg work to ensure anything gets done, and done correctly without cutting corners.
I would never recommend someone to build with Pulte as once you sign the dotted line to make the house yours, good luck.

We truly love the area and location of our new home, but unfortunately, our experience with Pulte’s repair team within the first year has been extremely disappointing. Instead of resolving issues, they often do the bare minimum, which leads to recurring or even bigger problems down the road.
Their approach consistently feels focused on cutting costs rather than providing lasting solutions. Communication is poor, and they rarely listen until problems escalate. For example, I’ve attached before-and-after photos of their attempt to address standing water in our backyard. Eight months later, the “repair” made the situation worse.
Homeowners deserve better. Pulte appears to prioritize profit over long-term homeowner satisfaction. I strongly recommend considering another builder.
