We’ve had such a great experience at Sugar Run at New Albany! From day one, Delia made the whole leasing and move-in process super easy. She was so friendly, helpful, and really went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed to get settled in. The amenities here are amazing, the gym and clubhouse are beautiful, the pool is perfect in the summer, and the dog park is so convenient for quick walks. Even the mailbox area is easy to access and makes life a little simpler! The overall vibe of Sugar Run is just so nice, clean, quiet, and welcoming. We couldn’t be happier to call this place home. Huge thanks to Delia and the whole team for making it such a great experience!

They are switching from AEP to a new electric provider. I read the reviews on this new provider. Horrible ratings. Our electric bills will triple.

This place is horrible. Run away fast. Unfortunately I’ve lived here for 5 years which is 5 1/2 years too long - no that isn’t a typo. I moved in when I sold my home intending to be here only 1 year (maybe 2 max), but then Covid happened and I was really sick for almost couple of years so I’ve been stuck here. Maintenance is terrible. I ask that they call before they come over and they never do. They also know less about home repairs than I do (I’m female). The apartment upstairs leaked and ruined the drywall on the ceiling and they were just going to let it dry then paint it. I had to force them to replace the drywall. The windows are so old and leaky it’s crazy. Your hot water is connected to the heat so you can’t shower while the heat is running if you want really hot water. The office staff is rude, incompetent and unprofessional. They also just switched from AEP to NEP which means my electric bill will probably triple based on what I’ve seen online from my others with NEP. They don’t currently sub meter but I expect that will be the next thing.
I’m out of here when my current lease expires.

I’ve lived at Sugar Run for two years now, and I couldn’t ask for a better leasing team! Delia, Andy, and Lisa are absolute rockstars when it comes to getting things done. Plus, they recently upgraded to a new trash compactor, and it’s been a total game changer. I live near the trash area and used to hear the old one from my apartment—this new one is quiet and works like a dream!

My boyfriend, our dog, and I moved here in July after having 2 friends recommend it to us. For the price, you get your bang for your buck compared to some of these other apartments near by. We live in a beautiful, renovated unit with new appliances, hardwood floors, and high ceilings. No place is perfect, but I have lived in many apartments and this one is my favorite.
Management has been pleasant and communicative. Maintenance is always ready to help and wave hello when they drive by on their carts! Our dog, Harper, actually just attended their Canine Cannonball event where she was met with a friendly furry friend and a yummy treat bag from Hollywood Feed. Harper can be A LOT and the other pup's family and management were more than happy to accommodate her so she could try to experience the pool with them! I cannot express how much that means to me. They do all sorts of events for the residents and even bring food trucks once a month! The grounds are very clean and the neighbors are all so pleasant and kind. I definitely recommend checking this place out!
