Mail theft has been addressed before, (Jan 2025) MGMT said they were going to notate the work order back in January, But they never did. She sent maintenance man “Roy” to change the lock and give me a new key. I had to submit a work order December 2025 to record the work order that was neglected to be recorded when I went to verbally address the issue at the office back in January 2025.
I called USPS to investigate mail theft fraud And investigate the managers at these apartments for their neglect.
Management neglects updating the mailboxes. I had to file a police report regarding the thefts, Along with advising management at the apartment units about my concerns. Management had the maintenance man threaten me as I was leaving the office and had my back turned.
I sent certified mail requesting the surveillance footage— But Old Towne Apartments ignored my letters. The surveillance footage proves that I am justified in leaving/terminating the lease because management breached the agreement by allowing maintenance to threaten me instead of addressing him on the spot.
I had to file a police report against the maintenance man “Joe” For making these threats— Management lied on the police report and said that “nothing happened”
I went to the office December 17, 2025 with my audio recorder on my phone advising office manager that I would be recording the conversation so I could show her boss how negatively they speak to tenants anytime we speak up about the work orders not being done properly. She proceeded to kick me out instead of trying to resolve the issue like management is supposed to.
I do not feel safe at these apartments, knowing that the maintenance man has access to my apartment— And that the office manager will lie to cover up anytime they commit a crime.
Other tenants and myself are starting to believe that management is involved in the thefts since they have been neglecting with updating the mailboxes for all the other tenants here. I had to send screenshots to corporate office showing the Facebook post that I made; As I was seeking advocacy online against the corrupt landlord ship being ran by the “two ladies in the office”
They were commenting under anonymous accounts— (They were situations that only occurred between myself and the Old Towne Apartments staff members) this is how I knew that I wasn’t dealing with any random person online. The comments weren’t even trying to be constructive or positive to help me solve this issue with the mailboxes being broken into.
Once I let corporate know about the harassment, The comments stopped. I advise any new tenant that moves in to record any and all conversations between yourself, and the two ladies at the office because they will lie to you and then turn around and say that “they never said that”
STAY AWAY FROM THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX! These are not good people managing these apartments. If you go up to the office upset about any issue— and If you don’t conform to their will, The two ladies will call the cops and have you violate the lease by making you look like an evil person. Dont fall for their tricks to make you upset— KEEP CALM. ☺️
I called the cops first so they couldn’t use that resource against me like they have done to others in the past. Even the cops that I have spoken to about this over the course of these two weeks have advised me to leave those apartments because these two ladies like to call the cops on people anytime tenants stand up for themselves and go into the office to raise concerns.
If the cops are telling me all of this information— this IS BAD NEWS! 🚨
P.s. all these five star reviews are either people paid off by the managers to say nice things about them, Or they are brand new tenants who are being manipulated into thinking that these two ladies are very sweet and kind. They are only after one thing.
YOUR MONEY.
P.s.s. Image attached shows The state of the mailboxes and how the doors are not flush/not secured. My experience here has been less than satisfactory. Looking to move ASAP for fear of my safety and wellbeing.

My partner and i had our tour today, and Cherie was a HUGE help! She was approachable and very informative. Everything about the tour was very detail oriented and tedious. We felt so fortunate for someone to give us that much attention to detail. This has been a tremendous highlight to my first experience searching for apartments!

These apartments have stood strong over the years. The only issue I have is safety and security. Many security lights outside and common halls are not working and there is many sidewalk and parking lot areas decaying, causing a trip hazard. Many common doors do not close properly causing unwanted animals and rodents to enter.
