I loved my time at Harper House. Just recently moved out as I relocated to another state. I lived there for 2 years and thought the location was great, management was always helpful and I really enjoyed my apartment. I will miss it.

Love living at Harper House. I am a nurse and work 12 hour shifts a lot of the time and love coming home and using the sauna. With my weird work schedule and working nights, I sleep during the day. The apartment is quiet and I feel safe which is important. The staff has always been super nice. Anyone looking for a quiet , updated and safe place to live- Harper House is great.

I’ve had a disappointing experience living at Harper House Apartments . Despite a distressing incident with a neighbor that involved abuse, the management did not address the issue adequately. Instead of supporting residents, the manager was unresponsive and unsympathetic. Unfortunately, this experience has made it difficult for us to feel safe and valued as tenants. I would not recommend this complex to others.

• I recommend everyone to read this. I have been a resident here for some time, and unfortunately, my experience has been getting worse after the recent changes.
Update as of November 12, 2025:
In six months, the new management company has failed to resolve the issue with the availability of lockers in the gym. In my opinion, this shows a lack of willingness and ability to communicate and manage effectively.
It is unacceptable that they claim they are unable to contact me — they don’t need to contact me, they need to solve the problems I am writing to them about.
...
First of all, the payment system has become unnecessarily complicated and restrictive. Until recently, I was able to split my rent into two payments without any issues, but now management has decided to post the balance on the 25th instead of the 1st, forcing a full payment in one transaction. This is highly inconvenient and not in line with the lease agreement, which clearly states that payments can be made until the 3rd of the month. Instead of improving the system, this decision only creates frustration for residents.
On top of that, there are other disappointing changes after the merger. Printer paper is no longer available in the same building, and now we have to walk to another one just to get it. The TVs in the common areas no longer work, and the internet, which used to be individual and more reliable, has now been turned into a mass/shared service. For $80 a month ($40 from each of us), the service quality should be much higher and more resident-focused.
Also, a huge number of rats are running around the complex (as everyone knows, they are carriers of particularly dangerous infectious diseases). It seems that no deratization measures are being carried out.
Also, their $40 monthly fee is not justified. There’s never any water in the business area, no snacks, and it’s always dirty. I’ll keep updating my review with new photos showing how the management company fails to handle things.
