Very upset. I have been here for nearly 4yrs and I’ve had issues with my dishwasher since August. I received a new one (it’s a downgraded one from the one I had before) and I’ve many service tickets about just trying to have my dishwasher secured in place. My most recent ticket was from the middle of December and I STILL have no had anyone come secure it. It’s continuously falling forward and it doesn’t wash my dishes due to it being uneven. I’ve contacted the main office several times and still no luck in having this fixed. I am upset seeing the empty apartments getting newer appliances and all set when no one is living in them while I’m paying rent to be ignored.
I also have a small leak coming from the pipe under my sink that I have addressed on the resident portal and through the main office and STILL have not had anyone assist in fixing it. I keep a dish under my sink to catch the watch. I’m not happy paying $2200 a month with my rent going up in 2 months and still not having these issues resolved. It’s the end of January and I’ve been having issues since August.
I absolutely understand maintenance is now busy due to the snow storm we just got hit with so I am of course patient as they are working hard on the snow removal for the safety of everyone here.
I have no other issues here, I LOVE LOVE LOVE living here and I have wonderful neighbors. The office staff is great, they really are. I’ve been very happy here which is why I renewed my lease. Since Amanda started in the office it’s definitely improved here from when Chloe was in the office. It is a great community here. I’m just upset about the appliance issue and the leak as I am just worried with this weather, what if the pipe bursts and I’m stuck with severe flooding.
A management that didn't even bother to tell us they rejected our application. Despite us specifically mentioning that we were moving for job relocation and needed an urgent response, they didn't reply to our emails for days and only responded after we called them. Their styles during the phone conversations were also extremely unprofessional. It was obvious that they did not care at all.

Fantastic community! My son lives on the property and coming from a small town wary on urban city living, this is a great slice for people who want to live close to the city while enjoying a suburban feel. Decently sized apartments, good mix of all kinds of people. When I retire, I'll look at this property as a potential landing spot!
My husband and I are looking for a short term rental while we sell our house and eventually buy another one. Upon arrival, I knew the tour wasn’t going to go well. The outside of every building could use a good power wash which to me indicated the inside may be just as bad. I was wrong, it was worse.
We took the tour and we were first shown the community mail area. Absolutely filthy. Cobwebs hanging low, leaves and debris all over the entire area, it was evident it hadn’t been cleaned in well over a year.
We viewed the first apartment. The door wasn’t even locked upon arrival. We were worried we might encounter a squatter and luckily we didn’t. Anyone could walk right in and claim squatters rights.
I smelled dog urine in the carpets. The windows, walls, counters, floors everything was covered in filth. There was literally a pile of trash on the counter; it looked like someone dumped a bag full of trash out. No caulk on the baseboard molding which creates homes for little bugs to potentially live in.
Second unit was almost as bad minus the dog urine smell and pile of trash, however everything was still filthy. If we moved there we would need to take a few weeks to clean, caulk, paint etc ourselves.
It’s truly a shame that they showed these units without being properly maintained first. At the amount they’re charging people to live there, the carpets and underpads should be replaced, walls painted, deep cleaned etc and we found this to be unacceptable.
We immediately knew we were not going to move there once we saw the first apartment and wanted to leave before seeing the second, but decided to not create a potentially uncomfortable situation.
The tour guide didn’t provide us much valuable information IMO. He didn’t know when trash pick up was, what expected fees there would be, and every five words he spoke was “ummm”… too casual to the point of unprofessionalism. I was afraid to shake his hand tbh considering how filthy the whole place was…
The whole situation was quite infuriating and a waste of time.

I recently moved to Eagle Rock, so far I have good experiences. Amanda from management has been very supportive, responsive, and made my moving process easy with no stress. Ishan, on the other hand, has been very polite and followed through with my requests. The only issue that I have now is the malfunction of the washer; I am still waiting for maintenance. It is a great location for shopping and commuting to Albany and other areas. I am glad that I chose Eagle Rock.
