  I’ve been a resident here for several years and wanted to share my honest experience. While the property is visually appealing and in a convenient location, the quality of construction has made day-to-day living increasingly difficult. The walls and ceilings offer little to no sound insulation, so noise from neighboring units is a constant issue. Conversations, televisions, and footsteps are clearly audible, often late into the night. Management has been notified of these problems, but the underlying issue appears to be the building’s lack of proper insulation rather than isolated tenant behavior. It’s unfortunate, because this could be a great community if the structural soundproofing were improved. For the current rent prices, I expected a quieter, more comfortable living environment. I hope the management team takes resident feedback seriously and invests in addressing these ongoing noise concerns.

  Do not waste your time living here. There is a ton of older people that live here (townhomes and main building) and it feels like a retirement community. They complain about every little thing they can possibly think of because they are so bored with nothing else to do. And when I say the older population here complains about everything, I mean EVERYTHING. They think they make their own rules.

  Don’t believe the positive people- there is a reason they offer little feedback since there is little to say positive about Fowler Square. The noise complaints are all real, for the apartments and the “cottages”. The construction and features are a far cry from the luxury branding the property advertises. It’s new- that’s about it.

  I WISH management would send out a MEMO to all residents about noise because living here with tenants above us in the cottages has been a nightmare. I would never recommend living here for that reason. There’s approx 3cm between the hardwood floors above you and your ceiling. Every single movement is heard. Most tenants living above another unit don’t even realize. Thus there’s loud bangs late at night while the dog plays and runs around. Even the lightest walker is loud. To make matters even worse, our shared wall neighbors have a subwoofer for their television. There’s 3 walls between us and our bedroom wall still vibrates every night while he watches TV. I’m convinced those living here have never once lived in an apartment and could care less about their neighbors. In addition the layouts of the units above and below were not considered. Why on earth would you have a second floor units kitchen above the lower units bedrooms ? It’s mind boggling. Next to our specific unit there’s an outdoor utility closet where they’ve installed a compressor touching our shared wall. The thing goes off randomly at any hour and is so loud it sounds like a jackhammer is in our apartment for a solid 90 seconds at a clip. My blood pressure from living here, well you can probably guess..
