😡🙁🙄 I no longer live here, but I know several that still do. Here's a few facts that you may want to think about:
• Fact: Heavy roach infestation problem.
• Fact: Absolutely no soundproofing in the walls and floors. You hear EVERYTHING in the neighboring apartments.
• Fact: The number of washers and dryers in the not-so-well-cleaned laundry rooms are highly inadequate for the number of tenants living here. Be prepared to play musical laundry rooms, in order to get 1 load done.
• Fact: Very few tenants clean up after their dogs — and management does nothing about it.
• Fact: Accepts Section 8 — and all the ... “BENEFITS” ... that go along with it.
• BEWARE ... OF ... THE ... 5-STAR ... REVIEWS. MANY OF THEM ARE FROM PEOPLE WHO HAVE NOT LIVED HERE FOR VERY LONG. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN READING OTHER REAL REVIEWS, GO TO YELP, OR GOOGLE THE FOLLOWING: EAGLE ROCK MINEOLA REVIEWS.

I lived here for three years and overall had a very positive experience. Linda and the maintenance staff were true rock stars during my stay - I can't say enough good things about them. We lived in a freshly renovated 2 bedroom/1.5 bathroom and were impressed by the quality of the unit. There are tons of things within walking distance, including a grocery store, restaurants, and a hair salon. Snow removal is also very prompt, and I found rent to be reasonable. If you're a runner, the neighborhood is very jogger-friendly.
I will say that some of the drawbacks mentioned in the other reviews are correct. The laundry rooms definitely could use additional washers and dryers, and by god. The roaches. They would pop up without fail in spring and we'd have to call the exterminator every year to spray. That fixed the issue until the next year, but there would always be at least one or two of their little corpses in the laundry rooms. I suppose it's part of living so close to the city, and they were always quick about remedying the problem, so thumbs up for that.
Overall, I would recommend Eagle Rock Mineola, but with the above caveats mentioned. I gave it some thought, and the vermin are absolutely worth living next door to Ikedo Ramen. If you move here, go check them out. I was putting at least one of those kids through college.
This place was my home for 3 years and it’s all about Location, location , location, literally next to everything but you paid a hefty price too. When I First came to this apartment complex, it was CLASSY and SAFE! Towards the LAST YEAR it was NOT SAFE! I Witnessed 2 Drug Deals go down in the Last year & what does the leasing office woman ( Denise would say to me) GET PICTURES, if I got Pictures I’d be Dead, that is dangerous!!!! I come from Queens so I know how Dangerous it is!!! The maintenance was great! Paul was amazing, you call for a problem and whatever time you were available, Maintenace would work with you and they came at the time you asked! If it was an emergency, it was taken care of by amazing Paul!!!! The BIGGEST PROBLEM with apartment was the American ROACH, literally Disgusting! These Roaches were Fast and when you killed them they literally STUNK like Rotten Garbage! It was Gross! The exterminator, yeah came but it was a short fix! These ROACHES were FROM DIRTY PEOPLE! All apartments have bugs but you ONLY got These ROACHES here!!!! Towards the last year, this place DID NOT CARE who they rented to, as LONG AS they had the MONEY! MINEOLA is a SAFE Neighborhood but EAGLEROCK MINEOLA APARTMENTS ARE NOT!!! The LEASING OFFICE (woman, DENISE) & Management in Plainview) kept Saying they were from strays but I Asked the Exterminator it Was FROM DIRTY PEOPLE! I was FREE AND CLEAR FROM ANY BUGS the first 2 years I lived here but the LAST YEAR, when they Took anyone with MONEY, THAT’S WHEN THE ROACHES CAME! I have 2 cats & I kept my kitties CLEAN & my apartment was Clean! ROACHES are NOT From CATS, THEY ARE FROM DIRTY PEOPLE! MAJOR PROBLEM is the UNSAFENESS & ROACHES DUE TO THE LOW LIFE DIRTY PEOPLE they are bringing in cause they are showing the Money! There is NO GYM, POOL or TENNIS COURTS Here! Whoever posted that must be on MEDICATION!

Location is perfect, dealing with main office is difficult, staff is not that attentive, hard to communicate. Lived here for a year made us fix floors after dogs were only on weekends. They were tiny dogs we had them 7 times at our apartment Not good management Denise palmer was excellent very helpful
