- MDMaps DNov 8, 20182.0I’d rate this aging complex “fair” due to the following: Cockroaches and other insects. The issue persists even after an exterminator was called. Use roach repellant proactively, especially around the kitchen cabinets and spray directly on the carpet. Multiple requests to repair several issues were half finished and some were ignored. Do a thorough inspection when moving in. Make sure you open separate individual requests so all issues can be tracked. Expect loud children in the complex. Outdated kitchen and bathroom. There is very little insulation which results in a high electric bill during the summer. At least gas is included in the rent which helps during the winter. Furnace is located right next to the bedroom and can be loud at times. Snow removal is very slow. Expect to shovel out your car. Often times there is a sewer smell.
