The housing is nice, but the pools almost always require maintenance, employees tend to take at least a week on average to respond to work orders, and the rent is unreasonably expensive.

There is never enough parking space for renters so be prepared to walk far from your car to apartment! Also wish they provided a sticker to open the gates! Only one entrance to main parking area

Extremely disappointed with Arterra Apartments. Average time for maintenance request responses was three months. Pool and other complex amenities break frequently and take months to fix. The community grills broke and I asked the community manager, Jessica, when the would be fixed. Her answer to me was it wasn't in the budget to fix this year. By the time my lease ended the grills were still broken. This should not have an issue when base rent prices were $1,700 - $2,000.

Where to even begin? I lived at Arterra for two years and everything went down hill, fast. For starters, the "front pool" is broken a lot and is hardly ever cleaned. I never smelled chlorine when I used it either, which is concerning. The trash cans in the pool area were constantly overflowing and hardly emptied. One of the grills in the front pool area was broken. When we asked management why it wasn't getting fixed, their response was: "It's not in the budget"....okay, but putting on events for your residents is? Maintenance took a ridiculously long time to respond to work orders, unless your A/C went out in the summer (which they would respond to right away). Work orders were often left un-attended to, or marked as "complete" and never were. There were a few times our blinds would break, because they were so cheaply made; or the shower drain would clog, and we fixed these issues ourselves after waiting at least a week with no response. Parking is a nightmare. Arterra has way too many covered spots, which you have to pay a monthly fee for, or the un-covered parking is "first come, first serve". The uncovered spots would get taken quickly, especially if you were getting home after 5:00 PM on a weekday. This led to residents parking outside of the main building or having to find off-site parking. Having too find off-site parking because the complex you live at doesn't have enough parking to accommodate it's residents is crazy. There were a couple times I had to work late shifts on the weekend, and would not get home until 11:30 PM or later, and all of the on-site parking was taken. This forced me to park off-site and walk, alone, in the dark. As a woman, I don't need to say why this is unacceptable. I emailed management about this and never received a response. Now, say you did get parking and you think your car is secure because this is a "gated community", well you're wrong. The gates often broke/stayed open, which defeated the purpose of having them. Also, there was a week right before we moved, where the gates for the left-hand parking lot wouldn't open from the inside...this was super inconvenient for all of us. Along with being a gated community, you are supposed to be given a sticker that registers with the gates to open when you pull up (so you don't have to punch in a code), we contacted management in regards to this a couple times for 2 years and were always told they were "working on it". All-in-all, Arterra sucks, don't live here. The only good part of this place is Kay Lynn.

Kay Lynn was absolutely amazing! The property is everything you could ever want! During our tour, she was very knowledgeable about the complex, answered all of our questions and left no details out. I loved how upfront she was about the property as a whole, it made the experience so special and real, like she really wants what is best for the tenant. I am so excited for my next chapter with Arterra!
