I have been here a few years. I have issue with routine maintenance. Everytime it's time routine maintenance is necessay we are told they have 500 units to get to and put off. Well they get rent payments for 500 units and it's their job to plan accordingly. I asked for my heat to be turned on and they refused until November. The girl that answered the phone said something like; the temperature is going up for a few weeks anyway and we have 500 units. How unprofessional is that? My apartment is cold, i am a senior and I know when they finally do decide to turn heaters on they will refuse any other maintenance requirements. I usually just do minor maintenence myself,. Wish me luck I don't blow up trying to light a pilot for heat. Northland needs to hire capable and enough staff and maintenence employees for their 500 units. I have a right to basic standards Including working heating.

Honestly this place is such a scam. The lease is a trap, they will get you with so many little things and will charge you an insane amount. The outside of the apartment buildings are disgusting covered in cobwebs, dead bugs, and just dirty, it's honestly embarrassing when I have guest over they have to see how trashy the outside of the apartment is. I don't think they've ever sprayed the apartment for bugs besides the first week I moved in, I've had to spray my apartment weekly to keep the bugs out. The pool is always gross and dirty I don't think they've ever cleaned it, or cleaned the area around the pool like the chairs and tables they're all covered in cobwebs and have bugs everywhere which is why the pools are most the time empty. The gym is ok and nice when they actually have the wipes to clean the equipment, which is hardly ever I just had to bring my own wipes at that point. Everything is cheaply and lazily made, the pipes are duct taped together, they'll turn water off and give you a minute warning, it's just a joke honestly. The leasing office is one of the most unhelpful group of people I've had to deal with. They are rude, and could care less about your problems, they don't get back and don't care to send help if you need it, they just want as much money they can squeeze out of you. Would not recommend to anyone.

For the most part enjoyed my stay here. I just hated when staff would never answer phones, cockroaches all over, hated it especially living on the first floor. When I first moved in maintenance was on top of everything but after awhile took them awhile to come in. Took the apartment complex 8 weeks to come fix my washer even though I had to call them every few days for a status. Upon move out they won’t do a walk through with you and they tried charging me for things I replaced, so now have to dispute it through the resident advocate, and that’s a total nightmare as they say they’re waiting for Acacia to reply to the dispute.
