Great company and team to work with, I’ve done many transactions as a realtor working with them, highly recommended.

What an AMAZING group of people in this Office, from Ms. Miriam O., Ben Quinones and the rest of the hard working staff.
From the first minute you sit down and discuss your business with this team, you will pick up on the KNOWLEDGE and the intelligence this crew possess! The genuine display of concern they have for you and your FAMILY is second to none, you will be educated at every turn and kept informed of any changes or paper work you may need to turn in. ONE THE MOST EXCITING EXPERIENCES THAT I'VE EVER HAD!!!
Hurry and reach out to Gateway Mortgage... Do not wait another day, you future depends on it!

Miriam made our home buying experience extremely stressful. It started out ok because after following up with her she was able to get us a pre approval letter within a few weeks after my online application. However it was all downhill from there. She contradicted herself so many times and was not very helpful. She was only available via email and would conduct business during non business and unprofessional hours of the day. Seems like once I stopped working with her agent friend she referred me to, she started to treat us poorly. For example: She was hard to reach if we had questions and once she finally did return our call or email she was very short with her responses. She really didn’t explain things in detail and seemed to be rushing us off as if she didnt have time to be bothered. She also caused us to lose several thousands of dollars by not getting us into the down payment assistance program as we requested (and the very main reason we chose gateway in first place). It was her fault didn't qualify in the end since she failed to mention what would disqualify us in first place. She always asked for everything piece by piece and last minute. It drove us crazy! Would say thats all she needed and keep coming back requesting more info at 11th hour. We had no idea if we were clear to close until the very last day. That was nerve reckIng as we didnt know if we were even moving. Even though we told landlord and had arranged movers and transferred utilities ect. She even quoted us the wrong amount for closing costs so our cashiers check was short the right amount. Because of that we were scrambling on the day of closing to not only move out of our condo, but now we had to go get more funding and come back to closing office (where she wasnt even present). In fact she was never present at anything For us! Even when we went to office to sign disclosures she got her assistant(who couldn’t answer questions) to sit in with us because she couldn’t attend. Seems like she would only go out of her way for her fellow latino clients or colleagues. Since thats the reason she gave that she couldn't be there for us. Said she needed to be there for her Spanish speaking clients. Overall she was not only bias, but unprofessional, unpleasant, and didn't get us a good deal. In fact our interest rate went up even after I applied since “program changed” she said. In the end we paid 10k more out of pocket expenses than we should have. We were so upset, stressed and angry throughout the whole entire mortgage process because of this woman. I even complained to her boss which didnt help much since she is the manager. And because shes management you would think her service would be better, however she was awful. So many times we wanted to walk away however we had already invested too much. We spent valuable time, money and were emotional invested in the house. We loved the home and didn't want to risk changing companies/loan officers and losing the house just because of her. So If it hadnt been for our real estate agent who helped us and comforted us through this painful and frankly one of the worse times of our lives, we would of given up and walked away from buying our dream home. All because of how difficult Miriam made the loan process for us. So no, I wouldn’t recommend Gateway Mortgage or Miriam to my worse enemy!
Very unprofessional, they return emails or calls. Started pre-approval process in January and it's March and no response,no update on sratus, nothing. Repeated messages and emails were never responded to. Don't recommend to no one.
