- HZHelen ZOct 28, 20255.0My Fiancée and I visited the Sheffield .The Concierge was Very welcoming and nice she seated us in the lounge offered us coffee. Met up with Miriam very nice and professional she showed us an apartment on the 3rd floor very spacious and loved the fact that the sunlight came thru very bright. We had a bit of a problem with our application. The Property Manager Mr Kahn helped us was very friendly and tried his best to help us out. We finally moved in 3 months ago. Residents are very friendly. So Far We’re Very Happy.

- LELauren EAug 18, 20252.0I’ve been a resident at the Sheffield for over 3 years collectively having lived in two different units. The staff is great, as well as the concierge. Unfortunately that’s not enough to recommend living here to anyone. Both of the units we rented had a plethora of issues and even though maintenance tried to address them, the issues weren’t resolved. We had a gas leak twice after a new stove was installed, told it was fine but had it inspected anyway as the smell was quite strong days later. Im glad we did because who knows what could’ve happened if we trusted word that it was ‘fine’. The walls are incredibly thin, a neighbor below us plays a grand piano for 3 hours straight & the sound travels up the walls. It’s apartment living so of course it’s expected to hear all types of noise, but to a reasonable extent. There is virtually no insulation. The units are outdated, chipped countertops, wood on the base of vanity’s that pops off as it’s held together by a few screws. Our washer emits a foul odor coming from the hose pipe that smells like sewage, the toilet has a strong urine smell that bleach can’t get rid of as the entire thing needs replacing. Whenever we’d let maintenance know, they say they can’t smell anything therefore it’s never fixed. The garbage disposal even though properly cleaned makes the entire cabinet smell bad. The bathrooms seem prone to pink mold/mildew and really old grouting in the tub as well as floor that is impossible to efficiently clean. My point being, the rents are absolutely outrageous for no updates, thin walls & issues that aren’t ever fully addressed. I’d suggested renting at a newer complex with fewer problems for the same price - if not less. If they ever start really updating the units and issues that exist, then maybe it would be worth it but until then it’s just simply not.

The sunlight in the apartments can't compare to any other units we toured. The family environment at the pool/ playground made me happy as a new dad. Thanks, guys!
