  This is because I’ve been ignored by Robert McCommons. Whatever you do, use a different bank for your mortgage. Horrible experience trying to get PMI removed because Robert never responds to emails, calls nor texts.

  Run as fast as you can. We sent all documentation April 26th for a May 31st closing. Well 2 months later and 6 missed closing dates by Wells Fargo has yet another delay. They stated missing documentation but they say we will have clear to close any day. That was 3 weeks ago. Communication from Anthony Gallop is next to nothing. Takes days to hear back from him regarding issues. We are seeking legal console. I would not even rate them a 1 star. They blame everyone but themselves. Buyer was told by staff she was behind and leaving on vacation so wasn't sure she would have paperwork done before. What?? Are you kidding me. We have legal binding agreements and deadlines. Also, private phone conversation from Anthony stated they were behind because they had to let 2 lenders go for releasing private information to third parties. This is all internal, not buyers lack of documentation.

  Stay away from Ashley Pierson. He was extremely unprofessional, rude and unethical. I was talking to him regarding refinancing my mortgage. He quoted me a nominal out of pocket closing expense (in email and conversation), and sneakily added 5x the amount in the loan papers. If this is not unethical, I don't know what is. When he was confronted with it, he threatened to cancel the loan instead of explaining his behavior. Wells Fargo should be ashamed to employ such unethical people.

  Murray Wall at Wells Fargo is one of only two mortgage officers that I use in my real estate business and there are hundreds of them in the Triangle area. Quite often I'll provide both names to a buyer and let the buyer go with whomever seems to be the best fit and sometimes I just feel one lender is going to be a better fit for a client I am working with. What I can tell you about Murray is that he is Johnny on the spot whenever I call with a question or have a client that needs help with purchasing a home. Murray is not just quick to respond but he takes great pains to understand the needs of the client and he is very prompt with replies to questions and just getting the job done so that buyer can get to closing and become a proud owner of a new home. The government hasn't made it any easier to get loans but Murray makes the process seem easy even when it's not. And if someone doesn't have the credit needed to get a loan then Murray will offer advice and be ready to start the loan process when the buyer has taken those steps to become financially qualified to get a loan. Everyone has different experiences but I can tell you that every single experince I have ever had with Murray Wall and Wells Fargo has been exceptionally good.
