- KKKarlJan 12, 20241.0Do not work with Sylvia Jurgenson as your mortgage banker. My closing was completely botched and both myself and my parents wasted a half day attempting to close and she was completely unavailable/unresponsive during closing. Ultimately there were issues with the paperwork that she messed up and as a direct result we were unable to close. Her "35 years" of experience mean nothing as basic concepts of interest and standard paperwork are lost on her. My closing was pushed out a week where I needed to take another half day to go back and try to close again. Additionally there was additional interest accrued on the old mortgage/new mortgage because it was not paid off on the original date that I am now directly responsible for paying because of this lack of professionalism. She was even so stubborn as to argue and deny that it cost us more to close a week later and refused to acknowledge her fault in the entire ordeal. STAY AWAY.
