Get ready to live a lifestyle of sophistication that’s dressed for success from head-to-toe.
A HUGE shoutout to the entire team at The Stead. They have made every process from the beginning as seamless as possible during a very stressful time while navigating a move. From the grounds personnel, to maintenance and the leasing office staff (Jeremy, Joel, Paloma and Emerson), I have been more than elated with my new apartment. I look forward to coming home each day thanks to the Stead staff.

At first, I was excited to move here. The area is quiet, safe. Everything we wanted. Wrong. Within a month of living here, we had to call the cops over screaming, crying, and slamming coming from above us involving adults and children. Which happened on multiple occasions during our residency at the Stead. It was never addressed. We complained multiple times, called numerous times. Videos of screaming and crying and abuse were sent to the front office. The “courtesy officer” is a joke. There were nights I was up until 2 AM waiting for cops to come address the situations, in which they would should up then just leave. There was nonstop stomping all through the day. But, addressing such issues aren’t important here, although it violates the covenant of quiet enjoyment in NC.
We would pass by other apartments walking to simply get the mail, and can hear fighting from behind the doors. If you value your mental health and sanity, find somewhere else to live. It got so bad that my dogs are terrified and I had to change my job over the nonstop disturbances to give them some form of peace during the day.
There have been multiple car break-ins, even cars have been stolen. Everyone wants to say they feel unsafe but can’t keep the gates to the buildings closed. Building 2020 is not clean. People in the surrounding townhomes use the amenities. There have been multiple times on weeknights in which the fire alarm went off at 4 AM in the middle of winter. These alarms proceeded to go off a few hours later as well while people are home working.
Multiple items have broken in our apartment after only living here since June. A maintenance person even came in and put a screw in the panel in front of the sink instead of fully fixing it.
I cannot emphasize enough to look elsewhere.

I really enjoy living here at The Stead at Farmington. The vibe is very chill and relaxed. The neighbors are typically nice and look out for each other. The only negative that I have is that I live on the 1st floor and my neighbor above walks pretty heavily. Other than that con, overall it's a great experience.
