  Proximity has partnered with ‘A Step Above Towing’, which is a sketchy tow company, that they are using to extort the residents. They will tow your car the day your tags expire and everyone throws their hands up as if they are not to be blamed. There was no correspondence sent regarding this tow company change and after communicating with the leasing office they said this announcement is on the resident portal. Well low & behold after checking this resident portal the tow info is WRONG!!! I actually enjoyed living here but it’s so unsettling to be robbed by the place you call home. Just be careful when leasing not only from Proximity but Greystar as a whole. Also, once you arrive to the tow lot, it is clearly someone’s home that they threw a fence around to put the cars in. They will take over an hour to arrive and tell you that you can only get your car by appointment. Also they only take cash, they will not provide you change if you don’t have exact change. They will also charge you extra if they find out that you contacted the police. They will also bend the “rules” for the leasing agents that live in the neighborhood.

  If I could give it zero stars I would. As a resident and former property management professional I promise you can find better elsewhere for what we pay here. If you car gets towed it’ll run you over $400 to get it back! I’ve ignored other minor concerns but predatory business practices is where I draw the line. This will absolutely be my last lease term here!

  Do not move here. This is the worst place to live, this has been the most terrible experience. I’ve been here for 2 years and the first year was great. The last year has been terrible. The property manager is rude and has a smart mouth with you. They are overall terrible at properly communicating effectively. Please do not move here! You’re better off at another Apartment complex nearby.

  This complex has a MAJOR PEST ISSUE! I’ve been in a nightmare since I moved into this unit!!! There’s cock roaches all through this place.. I even see them outside of my apartment. Pest control has been here multiple times and I still keep seeing them. Big ones too! I also had an issue twice with flies somehow entering the apartment.. multiple flies flying near/around the balcony door and windows. I don’t open the windows or balcony door and I also keep all the drains closed. So where are they coming from?! I never been so uncomfortable in my own home.. it’s sad actually. Oh, and there’s also spiders. I’ve only been here three months and there hasn’t been a day where I feel comfortable to be home. I wouldn’t recommend a soul to live here. From the pest to poor management, this is absolutely the WORST place I have ever lived at. I pray for better days and for this nightmare to end!

  We just moved in and hopefully won't have to change the review down the road, but I wanted to give a shout out to Nesta in the Leasing Office and maintenance workers Marco and Miguel. They were all very attentive and kind. Marco and Miguel took care of my maintenance requests fairly quickly. I've lived in multiple apartments throughout my life and never had a maintenance crew respond so promptly.
