  Management doesn't take you seriously when you have a problem, literally makes living here not worth it if you need something. Just bein honest 🤷🏽‍♀️🙄

  I toured with Daniel today. He was very knowledgeable, promptly answered all questions, and took his time to listen and respond to my needs. He was very accommodating went out of his way to apologize that the tour I booked last night did not show up in their system (even though that clearly wasn't his fault). The property itself is beautiful and the floorpans are spacious. The oversized windows and tall ceilings fill the rooms with enough light that you would like only need to use them at night. I plan on securing my lease very soon!

  The leasing office and the community look beautiful, but unfortunately the experience doesn’t match the appearance. My sister recently had ants coming from the hallway into her apartment, and the “solution” management provided was spraying Windex… yes, Windex inside her home?!!! When she expressed her concerns, the assistant manager Kay told her she’d have to wait an entire week for pest control, despite the fact that she has a dog. No one should have to let their pet live with ants crawling through their apartment, especially in their food and water bowls. It’s extremely disappointing that my mother had to contact corporate just to get a basic pest issue addressed, especially when it’s clearly a building problem. Communication and professionalism from management have been consistently lacking, and it feels like most of the glowing reviews come from new residents who haven’t experienced ongoing issues yet. I renewed before these problems started, but once my lease is up, I’ll be moving. For anyone considering living here, speak to the residents who have dealt with issues for months (ants, roaches, and maintenance requests that are always “waiting on a part.”) The community may look nice, but the service behind it needs serious improvement.

  I have lived here for a few months now and wanted to wait to make this review so it could be accurate. Alta West has been nothing short of amazing, I genuinely could not ask for a better place to call home. The leasing staff is amazing and made me feel at home from the minute I walked in, and it’s only gotten better since then. I would 1000% recommend moving here to anyone!

  As a former resident, I’m honestly disappointed by the ongoing lack of communication at this property but unfortunately, I can’t say I’m surprised. My new apartment community has been waiting on rental verification from Alta West Morehead, and despite multiple attempts to reach the office, no one has responded or followed up. I also emailed about picking up mail that was confirmed delivered and being held by the leasing team.. it has now been more than 24 hours with still no reply. This level of communication is extremely concerning. Basic requests should not take this much effort, and it truly feels as though previous residents are no longer considered “important” once they move out. Several current residents have even reached out to me with the same complaints, which only confirms this is an ongoing issue. I have emailed the property manager, Alicia, as well as called and emailed the leasing team, all with no response. As someone who has worked in property management, I can assure you it should never be this difficult to get simple information. I hope this feedback encourages serious improvement, because residents and former residents deserve much better.
