I recently moved into Steelcote Apartments, and I have to say the team made everything so easy! They were super helpful, answered all my questions, and made sure my apartment was ready for move-in. The whole process was smooth, and I felt supported every step of the way. Highly recommend!

Usually don’t leave reviews, but I lived in the new apartments from 2023 up until this past January. Reggie is great and tries to be helpful within his means but I can’t say anything for the rest of the management since there’s been so much turnover. Aside from minor things which I could overlook (noise, small things breaking) I didn’t have many complaints. It wasn’t until I went to extend my lease that I started having problems. I reached out to Reggie about a lease extension and he relayed the information to Ari (leasing manager at the time, Miranda was the manager when I first moved in). I asked for the prorated amount as well as any documentation needed on my end and didn’t receive a reply after that, so I tried several times to stop by the office during business hours but it was often empty. I ended up getting a hold of Ari over the phone at some point but she told me just to provide the set of dates I needed and she’d take it from there. Fast forward to my move out date- at direction of Ari I turned in my keys & wrote down on a post it (strange I know) my forwarding address and contact information. I asked her if I should follow up with an email she declined, but I later called her on the phone to relay the same information. The prorated rent for my extended lease was never provided in this time but my account/payment information remained on file and I was told at the time that a bill should be available on my portal once prepared. I checked within the week and I no longer had access to the resident portal at all. I assumed I’d be getting a bill in the mail given my last conversation with Ari and left a voicemail (my call was never returned). Some time later I received a notice from collections in the mail for the prorated amount and I promptly called the leasing office only to be told that Ari no longer works there and I guess had mismanaged somethings so the new leasing office manager KiNikki told me that basically they didn’t have my information and that is why it was sent to collections as opposed to some form of prior notice. As a student there was so much back and forth at times I admit I couldn’t make it a priority to keep following up. When I later called to speak to KiNikki again I found out there was yet another leasing office manager. I’d never been late or missed a payment of any kind only to now have something sent to collections on my record. The whole experience was frustrating. I can’t say I’d recommend steelcote given that but if you’re also a student and it’s just convenient be careful around move out time and if you really need something done given the high turnover I’m not sure they’d be able to meet that need. (Shoutout to the maintenance staff though, they (all 2 of them) are awesome and tried their best to cover 3 sizable buildings)

The window in my apartment won’t close, and with tempratures dropping, It’s unsafe to live here. The apartment also reeks of marijuana and the noise from the neighborhood is traumatizing. It also affects my room temperature and heating/cooling. Despite reporting the issue over 6 months ago and constantly following up, the management has not fixed it. Watch the video I have attached to check the noise levels, make sure to unmute it. Edit - The review is not about your staff, it's about a construction flaw. The fact that you don't get the problem after all this while shows how poorly you manage the property.

This is by far one of the best experiences I have had renting so far. My apartment is nice and the building is always kept so clean. You can tell the property manager actually cares and she she handles things appropriately. Miranda has been very attentive to us from the day we walked in to tour all the way to moving in and beyond. I highly recommend this place, we will be here for years to come.
