I loved talking to the staff they were all so helpful with my move in! Brynna especially was so sweet and I absolutely love living here.
We are so excited for our daughter to live at Beacon Apartments in Springfield! From the moment we visited, it felt safe, welcoming, and like a place where students can really feel at home. The community atmosphere is upbeat and fun, which makes the transition out of dorm life even more exciting. We’re especially looking forward to her having her own room and bathroom—such a great upgrade after sharing a dorm space. Beacon seems like a wonderful place for students to live, grow, and enjoy their college experience.
The staff is really nice and helpful and the amenities make it even better. The prices are comparable to other apartments in the area and the proximity to campus makes it easy to walk to and from.
Living at Beacon has been great! Since the management change, the team has been super friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. It’s steps from campus, has great amenities, and there are always free food events going on. It really feels like a community, and I love living here!
Based on my experience since the management changed, the previous Beacon management had built a strong reputation over the years. They were friendly, efficient, and reliable. I would confidently recommend them to any student looking for housing.
Unfortunately, the new management has completely destroyed that trust in a very short time. They have been rude, slow to respond, careless, and, most importantly, unwilling to acknowledge their obvious mistakes.
To be clear, this does not apply to every staff member. Some employees have been polite and tried their best. But the problem lies with the higher level management. In particular, those in managerial positions clearly show serious issues with professionalism, accountability, and leadership.
It went from being the best management to the worst.
If this continues, who would want to live at Beacon? Many current residents are extremely disappointed. We really hope they take this seriously and make real improvements. Ignoring these issues will only hurt themselves in the long run.
We expect those in charge to act with at least basic responsibility.
