The Commons of Inver Grove is located directly across the street from Inver Hills Community College and offers a unique housing option for full or part-time college students and non-students. A select number of our 2, 3, and 4 bedroom apartments are leased by the bedroom. This option allows college students a private bedroom with your own lease (only you are on your lease). Students share the common area living room, kitchen and bathrooms all of which have been recently remodeled with granite counter tops, wood-look flooring and cherry cabinetry. We also offer traditional one, two, and two+den apartments with the same upgraded finishes.

- KHKaitlynn HobotJan 21, 20195.0My husband, daughter (8 months old) and I have lived her for a few months now. We live in a separate building with only 5 other tenants, we couldn’t love this place more! It’s quiet, clean and safe for my family! We have had a few minor issues with our apartment, such as our thermostat didn’t work and our dishwasher kept falling down. I emailed Alyssa and THE next day Mario ( maintenance man) came and fixed those 2 problems! Both Alyssa and Mario have been so nice and helpful! It’s so comforting to go to bed every night knowing we live in a safe secure apartment! I read other reviews stating that cops come here every night... I haven’t seen any cops since the 5 months I have lived here? However I am a little disappointed that we will have to start paying for trash now because other tenants don’t respect the rules. And my other minor complaint is when it snows they don’t plow the parking lot right away or at all. But those problems are so minor , I am just happy that we live in a nice safe apartment that we call home! If you do plan on living here I do recommend the six plex! It’s been perfect for our small family!

- SLSusan LynJul 19, 20171.0I am posting this review warning others if you are thinking of renting from these guys here is what you need to know before you make that decision. First off our apartment was filthy when we initially moved in. There is so many layers of paint on the walls that it's cracking everywhere. People park in front of their garages, work on their vehicles blocking access to parts of the parking lot.. Cops are called to the property at least twice a month. Dumpsters pile up and it reeks like garbage. Doors are always propped open. They use makeshift screens that don't fit so bugs are able to crawl right into your apartment. (more so than the norm living next to a wooded area) A short back story on the bathrooms (see pics attached) ..... fans do not work properly in the bathroom for the moisture to work its way out so it causes mold to grow above the shower. This has been an ongoing problem.. (see previous reviews) There were spots of mold above the tub on the ceiling (pink and grey colored) and it took 6 months, tons of phone calls and a final email from myself with an attached email response from the tenant advocacy hotline for maintenance to come and repair the ceiling. The next day maintenance did not shut off the water on a separate issue while doing work in the bathroom on the floor above us and we had water come pouring through light fixture. This was the fastest they have responded in the 10 months we were living there. Maintenance came in and took a look and helped clean up the water. After that I didn't hear back from anyone regarding that incident even though the water traveled quite quickly to the kitchen and the dining area through the walls. Alyssa is nice and can be easy to work with, but if you want something fixed in your apartment that is not an emergency, good luck.
