I have been living here for about 6 months, and I have nothing but positive things to say. The property is well kept, and peaceful. I did not have any issues with the move-in process, and I was able to get my keys earlier than expected on move-in day. Maintenance has been quick to respond to service requests (often within a few hours), and all staff members that I have interacted with have been pleasant and professional. Overall, I am very happy living here and I would recommend this property to anyone.

My smoke detector was chirping. I tried to change the battery but I couldn’t put the new battery in. This was at around 8pm. I was reluctant to call the after hours service because I knew it wasn’t an emergency. But it would have been chirping all night. I called emergency maintenance and Curtis came with no problem. To find out the unit itself was bad. Thank you Curtis!

Just a warning. If you live here and your neighbors blast music/bass between 6am and 9am every day, Uptown will do nothing. They ignore my emails and when they did respond, all they did was send a general email to everyone. The music has been blasting almost every morning for over a year. So if you love bass knocking on your walls at 6am, come live here.

As many others have said, read this before moving in. I feel that the “good” reviews are mostly fake(I.e incentives for new residents to put in a good review even if uptown says they don’t do that or they’re deleting/reporting bad reviews as “fake” to get them removed so they look good). There is nothing good about this community besides maybe the location. The office staff are not friendly, I get having a bad day, but multiple? Doesn’t make sense. Especially the “leasing manager,” she is VERY rude and not pleasant to speak with. Nor does she resolve problems. There has been an ongoing issue of dog poop everywhere, mind you they don’t have any waste bins besides the dumpsters, which are not convenient if you’re walking your dog. Recently, they’ve had a maintenance person out picking up the poop to make sure the property is “pristine.” They advertise as luxury apartments but the inside of the apartments are not luxury and VERY cheap. Definitely avoid if you’re able! If you turn in your keys early, they will take that as “early termination” regardless if you pay through your notice or not and charge you an extra fee on top of that. Upon moving in, we have had a few issues with the apartment, most were resolved timely - the dishwasher kept leaking after multiple work orders and the HVAC unit was leaking and molded the flooring/carpet (multiple work orders were put in for this as well). Update after typing this out: leasing manager admitted she was wrong and credited back the early termination/ insufficient notice fee of $1,300. Keeping the review as one star because I truly don’t recommend anyone to live here because of the asst mgr and the units truly aren’t worth the price.
