Anna Sonnet, leading and Community intern, is a very kind and helpful person. She has been helpful in assisting me during my stay at Canvas Townhomes. She is particularly good at guiding individuals in making decisions about which units to choose especially if youre indecisive! Overall she is a great person and always smiling!

My resident assistant Hunter reached out to me within the week I moved in, introduced himself and let me know he was here to help. I let him know of some of the concerns I had during my move-in check-in and he offered to put in the maintenance service for me. I provided the list and the concerns I had were completed within a better hour. Thanks so much Hunter, I was impressed.

Move out is horrendous. Got charged a crazy amount of money for things that are considered "Normal wear and tear" as in the lease it states that you will not get charged. They told me that my apartment was not move in ready when I moved out when it was cleaner then than when I moved in. I had file around 10 work orders when I moved in as our porch had nails out of the wood, UNSAFE, loose cabinets, broken drawers, marks on walls, etc. Then charge me for not being move out ready as I moved into an apartment in worse condition. I did not appreciate the communications skills during this process as I requested information from the company, and it was never given. Was told, "This is final." Glad to be out of there. Loved the space that was given but the communication and how move out is handled, I was beyond disappointed. Why charge me a crazy amount of money when I know you are going to do nothing with it.

I wish there was a score lower than zero. After barely three months of living here I can confidently say I’ve never felt so frustrated. The canvas team collectively has done everything in their power to convince my roomates and I that our appliances in an UPGRADED unit are perfectly fine. There have multiple problems with our washing machines since move in. Initially I was told that it was all signs of a dying motor/transmission problem. That opinion changed within the same appointment where suddenly the problem was magically fixed with a new “belt”? Problem not so solved, my roomates and I have been consistently struggling with our washer and dryer. Our washer has somehow completely combusted and we woke up this morning to a burning smell throughout our entire unit. Our washing machine had been running all evening and night. It was physically hot to the touch. My room mates clothes sat in black standing water all and i can not emphasize how hot this water was, if it’s too hot to fully submerge my hand it to WRING HER CLOTHES OUT, there’s clearly a larger issue. After ignoring us and our valid complaints since move in, Canvas will not respond to our emergency requests. Do ypireself a favor, save yourself the stress and frustration, never move into a unit here. There are more negative experiences than there are positive for a reason. If this is an upgraded apartment experience I truly can’t imagine a standard. Canvas do us both a favor and respond to atleast one form of communication.
