  Polly is rude and disrespectful. She blatantly ignored me for 30 minutes with out one word. I tried to ignore all the bad reviews about her treating black people and minorities a certain way but that is exactly the energy she gives off. I decided to go with another apartment and I spoke to her about getting my security deposit back. She told me to come by any time before 5pm. When I arrived I emailed and knocked on her door and she ignored me for 30 minutes while I sat in the lobby. Never once stating that she would be with me in a minute. When I continued to knock on her door she eventually opened the door and said give her 10 minutes and slammed the door in my face. She’s rude, disrespectful, and should not be working in a customer service industry. I’ll be reporting to the apartment complex company. If you look at most of the bad reviews they are mostly around Polly.

  I have lived at The George for nearly a year now, and I really can’t say enough about it. First of all, the staff here is a tenant’s dream. Yusra, the assistant property manager, is TIRELESS in her efforts to make sure that the management component is always both accessible and responsive. The maintenance component takes care of work orders I submit in an extremely timely fashion, and they don’t come and do half-jobs—they FIX the problem. I don’t know if the cleaning employees are contract or in-house, but they SURE DO keep this place nice. The George is a beautiful place. It’s nestled right in-between DC and downtown Silver Spring to the immediate south, and Bethesda/Rockville and Baltimore to the near-north. Folks, I shopped around before I settled on The George, and I’m telling you, this place is a gem. I’m SO glad I found it.

  I have lived at the George for over a year now and I have had an exceptional experience here. At other residences I had a lot of issues when it came maintenance, but my experience here far surpasses my expectations. Most recently, I had an issue where the air conditioning wasn't working in my apartment. It was after hours and i expected for it to take a while for it to be resolved. I called the after hours maintenance number and Adonis was there to resolve my issue in less than 45 minutes. Not only was my problem resolved, but he took the time to make sure that any other need that I had regarding my residence was met while he was there. This meant a great deal to me. It is now time for me to renew my lease, and without a doubt I will be doing so. I recommend The George to anyone looking to move into an upscale, well kept facility. You will be pleased.

  this place used to be the best place to live but now they are under a new management company which doesn't care about anything else. They are never available to answer questions or even listen to any residents concerns. Stay away! and if you stay please make a copy of everything in terms of leases, parking agreement and so on. The new management sucks
