I would like to say that I just moved in, and at the leasing office, Allison and Jamal, helped me through the process. They were very professional and compassionate. I was going through a lot with the paperwork work, and they were still patient and helped. I feel safe in this community. And knowing that I can always count on them the leasing team.

I selected this apartment sight unseen, because of the professionalism and expertise of Gamal, who walked me through the process from start to finish, he is a gem, and I love my new home.

When I first moved into this community, everything was fine for about three and a half years. My husband and I had no complaints during that time. However, the past year and a half have been nothing short of a nightmare. Let’s start with the leasing office. The staff — particularly a woman named Britney — have been extremely disrespectful and unhelpful.(I’m sure I am not the first person complaining about her) I’ve experienced vandalism and even had my car broken into, yet no one from management has taken any action to assist me. When I spoke with another staff member, Carlos, he gave me his personal email to file a complaint — completely unprofessional. It’s clear that the management team either doesn’t care or prefers to stay unaware of what’s really happening. The biggest issue is the lack of accountability. There seems to be no one in charge, and residents are left to deal with problems on their own. I’m not claiming to be perfect, but I do believe in be empathic. You cannot have people who are insensible and disrespectful working in a place like this. I cannot recommend renting here. The shared washer and dryer facilities are unsanitary, and although they’re remodeling the exterior to make the place look nice, the reality inside is very different. The mailroom rarely works, and getting your packages is a challenge. If you ask for help, don’t expect much — Britney might just tell you she can’t do anything and slam the door in your face and tell you to complain with Amazon instead.

I have lived here for almost a year and overall have really enjoyed the apartment and community. I appreciated the space, the convenience, and the environment, and I expected to finish my lease on a positive note. However, I am currently dealing with a mice infestation on the sixth floor, which has been frustrating and disappointing. One night, I saw a mouse run into my apartment from the hallway. I immediately submitted a maintenance request, but I did not receive a response for three days. During that time, I saw another mouse in the kitchen. To escalate the situation, I sent an email to follow up. After, I received a call from the leasing office to check for entry points, while they could have walked over to my apartment. Later, when I discovered a clear entry hole, I went to the leasing office directly to report it. The response throughout this process has lacked urgency and reassurance, despite it being a clear health and sanitation concern. This is not the kind of issue that should be treated casually. To be considering a rent increase while serious concerns like this are not addressed promptly feels UNACCEPTABLE. A safe and sanitary home is a basic expectation, not a privilege, and residents should feel heard and taken seriously when concerns arise. I am ultimately glad I chose not to renew my lease, because this experience has made that decision clear. Attached is the entry point (hole) that I found underside the cabinet.

I moved in at the end of May 2025, and I’ve waited until the end of September to get to know the place before writing this review. I’m very happy and impressed, living in Congressional Towers Apartments in Rockville. From the start, working with Gamal, my leasing agent, I felt that he really listened to me and what I was looking for, before showing me an apartment just right for me. My apartment faces the woods around Woodmont Country Club, and I’ve really enjoyed seeing all the birds, bunnies, and an occasional deer. My dogs and I love all the green space around the apartments. It adds a lot to a community, to have park space, and I like seeing all the ways my neighbors enjoy the two central park areas, as well as the green space around the buildings. The apartment maintenance is excellent with each hall and common area thoroughly cleaned each day. The maintenance staff is always friendly and helpful. There are 4 buildings with approximately 600 apartments, but when my refrigerator started making noise, a repair person was at my door within 10 minutes, and the problem solved quickly. I’m particularly impressed with my neighbors, young, old, kids, and dogs. Everyone has been consistently friendly and polite. The apartments are large, and very well maintained. I think all of my appliances are new. The lobby has just completed a really nice renovation. The community has many nice amenities, including even a dog bathing room and a full sized, professional gym. That utilities are included is really convenient. I pay my rent and everything else is taken care of. The area is as convenient as you can get, with many restaurants, grocery stores, nice shops, and a metro stop within a short walking distance. I also feel my neighborhood is very safe. I often walk my dogs before sunrise, and I appreciate the security car that drives back and forth through the parking lots, just to add that extra layer of protection in a safe area. If you want to feel comfortable and cared for, I highly recommend Congressional Towers Apartments in Rockville.
