I have submitted an application and have been trying to reach out to see if my application has been reviewed. I was looking for somewhere as I am about to be PCSing to Fort Meade in 10 days. I also want to see if they can cancel it so I can be refunded for the over 200 hold fee. It is aggravating, and have lost all interest in looking at staying at these apartments.
Update: if I could give it zero stars, I would. So they’re just now reaching out, saying that they mailed a check for the money to the address which I put my move out date as same day they sent it in the mail. So obviously, I’m not at the same place. I’ve made it clear that I was urgently looking for somewhere because I was moving. So now I have to wait for them to reach back out and re-mail a check when I don’t understand why they can’t just refund it online, which is how I made the payment to begin with. This place is ridiculous. Just know that if you apply here you’re gonna have to right off the bat make a $250 payment even if you’re not going to actually stay there and you might not get your money back for a long time.

The biggest mistake of my life was renting an apartment here.
When I first signed my lease, I left a positive review because I expected good service — but the reality after moving in is completely different.
It has been over a month since my washing machine stopped working. I submitted multiple maintenance requests through the app and personally visited the office several times, yet nothing has been fixed.
The responses are only promises without action.
I pay my rent fully and on time, but even the basic services and respect for residents’ time and concerns do not exist here.
Management, maintenance, and accountability are extremely poor.
If anyone is thinking about renting here, please pay attention to the actual experience of current residents — the place looks nice on the outside, but once you live here, you face neglect, delays, and zero responsibility.
I hope this review forces management to focus less on advertising and more on actually solving residents’ problems.

I am absolutely at my wits’ end with this apartment management. If you’re considering moving here, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. I’ve had multiple issues since moving in last summer and truly cannot wait to leave.
It took them over a month to fix my oven. I had to submit 4–5 work orders and physically go to the office before they finally fixed it. We renewed our lease months ago — I even have a signed copy — yet the management somehow “lost” their own records and added a $300 month-to-month fee that is completely fraudulent.
They never answer emails, never return phone calls, and the only way to speak to anyone is by showing up in person… but half the time no one is in the office anyway. It’s beyond unprofessional.
Overall, extremely frustrating and deeply disappointing. Do yourself a favor and keep looking, you can find far better management elsewhere.

Grateful for my new washer however it was absolutely ridiculous that it took Murn Management OVER THREE MONTHS to replace my washer after it broke two weeks after my boyfriend and I moved into an apartment at The Madison. I had a horrible experience with the leasing office staff trying to get this issue resolved, and while the maintenence team was very nice, the management of said team was disorganized. I was given false promises over and over again about my washer being fixed/replaced. I had to essentially harass both the maintenence supervisor and the leasing office staff to finally receive a washer that works.

Can I give 0 stars? I've been living here for 2 years now, management has always been disorganized and rude. It took them a whole month fix my ac unit a year ago and they never so much as apologized or gave me my rent back. They don't even answer the phone and act ignorant when they LOSE YOUR SIGNED LEASE and then threaten $300 extra a month if you don't fix THE PROBLEM THEY CREATED.
Now they are charging extra for parking, just another money grab — on top of the $25 security system fee that doesn’t work. The cleaning crew uses nasty fabuloso for the hallways that stinks up everything AND they are supposed to install a ring system, it's been sitting there for a whole year not being used.
DO NOT MOVE HERE. 2k a month for a tiny apartment with windows from the 80s that let air in unless taped up. Terrible paint job, they paint over the sink and bathroom tub, there is paint spatter all over my floors. Cheap appliances, cheap cabinets, thin walls AND A MANAGEMENT TEAM THAT IS RUDE AND NEEDS TO LEARN HOW TO TALK TO PEOPLE.
This is my home and they treat me like shit instead of doing their jobs.
And watch, I'll get a nice little curated reply from the company on here with a phone number but NOTHING WILL CHANGE.
So save your reply and actually do your job.
