They are the mgmt. company of the newly demolished condo at 221 Mount Auburn Street in Cambridge.
Mark is afraid of standing up to the people that break the rules while putting others in danger. We don’t need a cowardly lion as a manager we need a leader.
He doesn't follow through on what the trustees have voted on. All the work they do is in vain. And he’s being paid a lot to do what the board recommended and voted on. If he’s afraid of dealing with unruly tenants he’s in the wrong profession. We need a leader.
Mark does the opposite of what the trustees voted on. Isn't he supposed to work for the trustees and residents? That actually live at the property and know more about what is going on?
Anyway, it's scary that people like this can sleep at night when the tenants they should be helping can't because of troublemakers on their property and unsafe living conditions.

This is an illegal practice. Avoid at all costs as a tenant and property owner. They tried to raise the rent 40% with under two weeks’ notice, which is illegal in Mass (not to mention the myriad of illegal construction practices happening in our building that’s dangerous to workers and tenants). Instead of responding to emails, calls, visits, and negotiating, they went to court, and their lawyer (who didn't even know what case she was pushing) literally got laughed at by the court for how blatantly in the wrong her side was. Embarrassing! It cost them tens of thousands of dollars of missed rent (as the court found we were entitled to that) and legal fees, and was such an icky experience for us. Hands down, the most incompetent and irresponsible people I've ever had the displeasure of having to come across.
Edit to the response: Well folks, another example of Thayer's unprofessionalism on full display. Violating building’s rules and community standards that compromised the safety of other residents? Such a blatant lie... and the first I'm hearing of it (not to mention the building didn't even have community standards). Such fiction. Really no clue what this man is talking about, but that would be a record response time from Thayer! Buddy boy, you should work on communicating with your clients this promptly (they take weeks to respond to anything, and they literally couldn't even find a full version of their own lease for us to sign for months). I'm sure you'd have less horrible reviews that way, and then you could take that time to actually try to do your job. We beat you in court once for your abusive practices (all very well documented). Do you need us to take you back there and beat you again over this slander? The compromised safety would be when your construction (done with several violations of city ordinances) causes carbon monoxide leaks over triggering four excavations and visits from the fire department. Or how about that time one exit was shuddered due to a construction project, then that same week a 5'x5'x5' foot pit was dug in front of the doorway to the only other exit, so we had to buy a plank of wood so we could enter/exit our unit? That’s what is unsafe. Interesting how this man immediately disparages everyone who leaves a review with an attempted character assassination. Absolutely no accountability and no integrity. But with Thayer, that is their MO for everything they do. Take your business elsewhere, people. Jeez, what a bully and a menace!
