  Disappointed With Management Experience I had a great first impression thanks to Tamia, who toured me on Friday. She was warm, informative, and made me feel confident about leasing here. She’s the reason I came back on Monday ready to sign. Unfortunately, the experience with the property manager was the complete opposite. There was no greeting, no “welcome back,” no offer to sit—no warmth at all. I explained I was ready to move forward with the unit I toured at $1,027 just two days prior. She ignored what I said and robotically recited a new price breakdown, stating the unit was now $1,184, with no explanation, no consideration, and no effort to discuss options. I wasn’t upset about the price change—I understand rates can shift. What disappointed me was the lack of customer service. No effort to help, no interest in retaining a ready-to-lease renter, and no professionalism. It felt like I was inconveniencing her just by being there. It’s unfortunate that a manager would create such a negative experience after the leasing agent did everything right. It completely changed my decision to move forward here. I’m new to Louisiana and this was my first negative experience—hopefully management sees this, because no future resident should feel ignored or dismissed when they walk in ready to sign.

  The lady in the front ms Skylar was absolutely amazing. Any problems we brought she answered and found solutions with no hassle. With this being our first time moving out she helped relieve a lot of unnecessary stress! We need more complex managers like ms Skylar

  While my overall experience has been very pleasant the time I lived here(1yr 7mths) my main issues is there isn't really any sound proofing. You hear everything and I mean everything 🙄. That would be my only con about this complex. Everyone is super nice at the front office and the maintenance is amazing. Just wish neighbors were a little more considerate considering we definitely lack sound proofing!!!

  La Veranda is a wonderful apartment complex with a wonderful staff. After graduating school and taking the exam for my license, I had one week to find an apartment that I could move into before starting work. Wendy and Isaiah made my transition to Lafayette seamless! Isaiah sold me on the apartments with his wonderful tour (and the snacks were a plus!) Wendy also was very helpful in ensuring that I was able to move in as quickly as possible. I am very thankful to these wonderful team members of La Veranda. Not to mention, the facilities are nice and the apartment was very clean. The community is quiet and well kept. Overall, my experience with La Veranda has been wonderful! Highly recommended!
