    We signed a lease prior to August to move in Oct 2025. We had to call ourselves to find out the apartment we anticipated to move into would not be ready until March 2026. We were notified that a similar floor plan would be ready come Jan 2026, therefore we signed another lease for that specific unit. This week we received a call our the new unit again would not be ready until Feb 2026. We have 2 toddlers and a lease up next month that cannot be extended to wait for in the meantime. Upon reading other reviews it seems their default blame is NIPSCO. Im not sure if its as true as they're claiming or there is some type of financial issues that these units are not ready yet. The first postponement we were offered money off our first month of rent. This time we’re just left in the mud attempting to find temporary housing with 2 children in just 1 month. I don’t understand how this can happen with no repercussions. It’s sickening the lack of empathy or care they have. I can only imagine each move in date they communicate is just a teaser to keep contracted tenants to keep their lease.

    ANOTHER DELAY! It’s about to be 2026 and there are STILL delays! What I’m tryin to figure out is how all these other newly built apartments and homes were able to finish their builds on time with zero delays yet Nuvo is having a hard time and they’ve been building BEFORE these other places! This is extremely unprofessional & unethical! These delays are not beating the scam allegations AT ALL! Leasing apartments and taking peoples application money, security deposit, and first months rent without even showing the units is crazy and a red damn flag! This property needs to be investigated IMMEDIATELY! 2-6 month delay is fine, 6-12 month delay is pushing it, but a 14-16 month delay is NOT OKAY! I am going to have this property and everybody who works here investigated, because somebody is dropping the ball!!!!!!!! You guys knew back in August when you sent out “updates” of NIPSCO “installing” the meters that you didn’t have all of the equipment. Instead you gave us new promised dates and new leases to sign so you can cover your butts from any legal action because YOU know this delay is way past any normal delay! This WILL be escalated!

    So Instead Of Refunding People For The Inconvenience Of All The Delays. They REQUIRE documentation to justify their delays disrupted your life. The Audacity Is Crazy.

    I was very disappointed to learn about the new delay. It's frustrating that we do not have any other utility providers in the area, but the ladies in the office have made this difficult time much easier to get through. My experience hasn't aligned with what some others have been saying. I've been told at every step of the way that there would be the possibility of delays, and they couldn't guarantee that there wouldn't be a delay. They even offered me money without needing to ask first, which was greatly appreciated.

    It’s so disheartening to see so many negative reviews from people when Colleen and Emma have been completely upfront on the possibility of delays and making sure future residents are kept in the loop as much as possible. There is only so much Colleen and Emma can personally do and even the company Edward Rose can only go so far when this process has only been delayed because of an outside factor, Nipsco. It is unfortunate that delays happen but as we are all adults and work in this world we know that we are all human doing the best we can with what we have and should be showing grace to those who have no control. Colleen and Emma, I believe you are truly doing your best and I cannot wait to see this beautiful property when it is complete!
