I strongly advise against renting here. The staff is consistently dismissive and often condescending. The parking garage door is frequently broken, which has caused delays and made it difficult to get to work on time. The hallways are regularly littered with trash, and the package room is disorganized to the point where locating packages is a challenge.
After nearly a year of living here, I was informed that renewing my lease would cost an additional $1,000 per month. This increase is unreasonable and does not reflect the quality of the property or the service provided.
Save your money.
I walk the dogs for a couple of residents in the building, and the amount of dog waste laying all around the property is absolutely nauseating. It’s impossible to step more than a couple of feet on the grass in the back without running into a pile of poop. For a place that charges that amount of rent, and advertises itself as an upscale place to live, they absolutely need to do a better job of maintaining their grounds.
I recently visited a friend who lives at ONE Wheeling Town Center, and I was genuinely impressed from the moment I walked in. The building feels upscale.
What really stood out was how smoothly everything ran, thanks to the propery manager, Teryn. Even as a visitor I noticed how attentive, professional, and welcoming she was. You can tell she genuinely cares about the residents and makes sure the whole community runs efficiently.
I can see why my friend loves it so much. Beautiful place, great energy, and exceptional management. Highly recommend!
I’ve lived at One Wheeling Town Center for four years, and overall it has been a comfortable and convenient place to call home. The building is well-maintained, and the amenities have been a big part of why I’ve stayed so long. The common areas, gym, and outdoor spaces are kept in great condition, and the building has a nice community feel without being noisy or chaotic.
The location is one of its biggest strengths—being close to restaurants, grocery stores, and the Metra makes everyday life easy. Parking is reliable, and the area feels safe and walkable.
Management has generally been responsive, and maintenance requests have been handled quickly for the most part. Over the years I’ve seen small improvements in communication and building upkeep, which I appreciate. Rent has increased, but that’s expected for a newer building with amenities.
No place is perfect, but my overall experience has been positive. After four years here, I can say One Wheeling Town Center has been a stable, comfortable home with a lot to offer.

I’ve really enjoyed the change in management since Teryn became the new community manager. She’s very friendly, approachable, and always willing to listen and help with any questions or concerns. You can tell she genuinely cares about the residents and wants the community to feel welcoming and well taken care of. I’m excited to see how things continue to improve with her in charge!
