  The worst company ever! They are rude and unprofessional! They only text you and charge fees that are inaccurate and have to reimburse all the time! DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! Dan is the problem over there and should be fired!

  We used to like renting from PMI until we moved out. First off, id like to say we are very clean people, we had our apartment professionally cleaned every 2 weeks for the 3 years we rented with them. Me and my husband have no pets or children, and both work full time 6 days a week, so we did not spend large portions of time in the apartment. After letting them know 30 days prior to when our lease was ending that we were unable to renew our lease due to the fact that we needed to move closer to our parents. It has been over a year since we moved out, we received $0 back from our security deposit. The entire time we lived here, i had the apartment professionally cleaned every 2 weeks for 3 hours, additionally, we had our apartment professionally cleaned TWICE the week we moved out (our regular biweekly scheduled appointment, and an additional one we specifically booked for the day after we moved our belongings out). We have photos. According to the last person i spoke to (there were a lot of attempts to reach someone to get our deposit back- nobody took the initiative to reach out to us even when we were told that someone would get back to us regarding the matter) the apartment had to be "extensively cleaned", there needed to be repairs made to the mantel that was crooked and never stable since the day we moved in, the door in the bedroom needed to be fixed (mind you when we mentioned this upon first moving in we were told that nothing could be done about this- so we lived with it because we are generally low maintenance people), the stovetop needed to be "cleaned", and they needed to repaint the entire apartment (on our dime). So essentially our $1450 deposit was used to make repairs to the apartment that were there when we moved in and improve the apartment for someone else. That is NOT what a security deposit is meant for! beware your last few months with PMI and document EVERTYTHING when you move in and when you move out.

  Very unprofessional management company. They will not answer their phone. Only way to communicate is via a text message. Not renter friendly. We would not recommend this management team to anyone. If they are listed as the management for a property, I would look elsewhere.

  PMI west suburban has been doing great job in taking care of my multi-unit apartment building. They are very nice to work with and very prompt in their responses. They take care everything for the property and leave no stress for me. They are very transparent and hence, I know exactly what is happening in the property and how the money is spent. They proactively suggest improvement projects and execute the projects from beginning to completion. I would rate them the best and I am extremely satisfied with their services.
