- VVVan VuApr 10, 20251.0We signed a contract to purchase a new home with Pulte and were required to pay a deposit immediately after signing. They assured us the house would be ready in 6 to 8 months. It’s now been 6 months, and all they’ve done is install the sewer and water—there’s no framing, no real progress. When we asked the construction assistant for an update, he said he had no idea when our home would be completed. I’m extremely disappointed with Pulte. If I hadn’t already put down a $60,000 deposit, I would cancel the contract without hesitation. If you’re considering buying a home from Pulte, I strongly urge you to think twice—you may end up dealing with the same frustration and uncertainty we’re facing.
