- CCChrista “Christa”Nov 10, 20254.0The staff is super friendly, maintenance is on it within a day, unbeatable transit access, Top it off with a pool, workout room, new bicycle room and 2 blocks from the lake. Not bad! I have pretty good luck with laundry machines. It's a non issue 95% of time. They have a large commercial set too which comes in handy. The one-bedrooms are spacious—twice the size of units in newer buildings. I’ll take that extra space over in-unit laundry. The closets have built-in organizers. Love them! No bugs. No neighbor issues. Great group of people. It took a minute to figure out spring and fall, but I came up with a solution and adjusted fine. It's worth it. I love meeting pups in the elevator. So well-behaved and cheerful. That's the cherry on top.

- CCChicago2025Oct 16, 20251.0Bed bugs and roaches here!!! This building is the Jurassic park of pests. Elm street plaza is more like nightmare on elm street. I am using an anonymous name to protect my identity as a resident but wanted to caution the community for the sake of its health and safety.
