It's a shame because the units are nice, but management is terrible, so bad that the building is not worth living in. Was near impossible to get anything fixed or responded to in a timely manner when we lived there. So, we moved out this past weekend and management failed to block off the elevator for sole use for move out purposes, which is standard when someone is trying to load and move in and out of an elevator. This was frustrating to deal with as we had confirmed multiple times with the management our move out date and time. It got worse though, the management double booked the move, so they had 2 tenants moving out at the same time with 1 elevator that was not even blocked off for moving out. There was only 1 loading dock and the alley is small, it is hard to get 1 truck in there, and they had 2 at the same time. The police were called on my moving truck since the entrance was blocked due to the management allowing 2 trucks in there at once. Our move took at least double the time because they would did not properly block off the elevator and also double booked 2 people moving out of 1 elevator at the same exact time! We were unable to get a hold of anyone at the management company (33 management) on the day of the move out for help and when we finally talked to them and explained to them what happened and said that we expect compensation for the mess that we dealt with and the extra charges we racked up with the moving company because of how long the move took due to the circumstances and they refused. Below is the email I received from James Moore at 33 management: Hi Max - I apologize for the miscommunication, in regard to your move out window and service requests! We require you move through a specific window for a variety of reasons, but most importantly to ensure that the elevator(s) has been appropriately padded and that our staff are on site to inspect the unit and hallways before and after your move. That being said, the elevator block is not for exclusive use it is specifically so that the pads and staff are in place during the agreed upon time. As I am sure you can imagine many tenants have move in and out dates that overlap with others and, although we do our best to accommodate, we cannot be held responsible for moving costs of any kind. In regard to the service request, I am not sure why that has not been addressed to your satisfaction and apologize for the inconvenience. “As I am sure you can imagine many tenants have move in and out dates that overlap with others and, although we do our best to accommodate, we cannot be held responsible for moving costs of any kind.” Huh? That is exactly my point! You do your best to accommodate, and you could not accommodate, but yet you still booked 2 people to move out of the building at the exact same time! Also, I have lived in other rental buildings and they always give you sole access to the moving elevator when you move in or out, including The Hensley when I moved in. It is impossible to move in or out otherwise. I have been going back and forth with the rep for the building, James Moore from 33 Management, for a week and he disagrees with me and fails to see that they did anything wrong and does not agree that we deserve any compensation for the moving costs. I asked him for another contact at 33 Management or a contact with The Hensley who I could speak with and he refused to provide either. DO NOT MOVE IN TO THIS BUILDING. I would have recommended it before the move out, but the treatment I received from James Moore at 33 management over the past week was unprofessional and unacceptable. I can not believe that he does not think we are entitled to any compensation for their poor handling of the move out as well as the fact that he thinks this is a standard move out procedure. There are too many nice buildings in the area that are priced similarly to waste your time dealing with the awful management at this building.

Management at this building is terrible, I do not recommend anyone to sign a lease here. Greystar managed my last property (420 E Ohio) and I have never ran into the problems that I have had here. I have been living here for over a month now and had numerous issues (obtaining a spare key, terms of the lease, call box programing, maintenance requests, amenity access) that have yet to be resolved. Furthermore, communication is a nightmare and I have to spend a ridiculous amount of time trying to get in contact with somebody in charge. Once I do, it's all talk. Nothing seems to be resolved around here in a timely, efficiently communicated manner. The building itself is beautiful but the management is a nightmare.
