  Moved in sight unseen in September 2024. Wow!!! These apartments are amazing! Gorgeous, huge, clean! When you arrive they even have a gift waiting for you. Loved the dog door and nice size yard. Staff is very nice and helpful. Maintenance crew is great! I left after 14 months due to location but if not for that I would have stayed for years!! Highly recommend.

  My husband and I moved into our apartment here at Modern Craftsman with our young baby. Diana was absolutely wonderful and helped make our move simple. She is great with people and really cares about others! We enjoyed our experience at Modern Craftsman.

  Great option to rent & live in a single story home vs an apartment building or 2-3 story townhome (although Modern Craftsman also has townhomes and a few apartments to rent too). An innovate take on (rented) housing, and they've got options for you! Awesome lil dog park on property and built-in doggie door to the backyard. Everything you need is within 5-10min! And even though it's in a desired area that is busier at times, it is quiet. Good 24hr* gym & yoga room (*some places I looked at had limited gym hours). Garages available. Property is very clean. Very cozy. Very comfortable. Inline with modern, updated touches. Jenny & Diana are Amazing!! They are welcoming. They listen, they're patient, & they're always there if you need. Definitely a Must-See in your search!! Saying this because I looked at basically everything available to rent in Meridian that had consistent, higher reviews- from Cortland (multiple locations) to olivia, The Lofts at TenMile, Olympus, Wesley, Seasons, Altair, Aren, Alpine Landing townhomes, the Village apartments. After looking at all of these places - paying attention to traffic/ street congestion, current nearby & potential future construction, rent costs (for my budget), layouts, interior design, amenities and so on, Modern Craftsman Black Cat* is where it's at! (Modern craftsman tenmile* was too much traffic/busyness for me, but you might like it so go Tour it out too!) (one big minus for me, personally, is that the 1bd doesn't have a bathtub. unless it's the apartment option, the 1bd is shower only. And the two bedrooms only have a tub in the secondary bathroom. Obviously no worries there if you don't like taking baths or don't mind going into the 2nd/ guest bath).

  Jenny was amazing! She made my home search very easy. Found a place for me in my price range, and took me around the property to select the exact location based on my many criteria. She found a home for me based on my preference of parking proximity, building orientation (for maximum sunlight and pleasant view), landscaping type, and even interior color scheme (I chose the dark one). I had so many questions during my tour and wanted to be very exhaustive in my home search, but Jenny was very patient and wonderfully helpful! I toured several other properties, but I was blown away by this place. The level of quality in building materials, design, landscaping, and community amenities had me enamored. Even my real estate agent was highly impressed with what I get for the price. Nowhere else I looked at comes even close.

  I have been working with the ladies from Modern Craftsman since the beginning of this year. I was pretty hesitant because I am relocating from California and unable to get a proper tour, but they sent me a video tour. The video tour was better than I thought because it showed how spacious the actual units are and how practical the layouts are as well. Aislinn and Diana have been extremely helpful with me throughout the last couple months and I have finally decided to sign a lease with them. When comparing Modern Craftsman with other apartment complexes around the area, they are just above and beyond with their layout, doggy door, private backyard, and beautiful amenities. Although there were other apartment complexes with enclosed patios, I chose Modern Craftsman because of the size, and their low maintenance yard. For someone who has fur babies, these are very important features to have! Parking is spacious and conveniently scattered throughout the property. They also have garages for rent which makes it easier to store belongings or vehicles. Another factor that helped me decide on Modern Craftsman is the school district and specific elementary school I wanted my daughter to go to. The property management has always gotten back to me via text, phone call, or e-mail in a timely manner. Since their property is much newer in the area, I understand how busy the staff can get during office hours. However, it seems like text or e-mail is the fastest way of communication. The ladies were even helpful when retrieving measurements for me since! Overall, after speaking with dozens of other properties around the area, doing tours, and comparing prices and location, Modern Craftsman is everything I needed and wanted. They're also close by to Costco! I will update my review with pictures as soon as I move in! Thank you Modern Craftsman!
