I would like to preface this review by saying we have rented from seven different places in the last decade, and have not had any problems with management, and have received full deposits back from every one of those places. I would leave 0 stars if I could. Worst management you could ever have in an apartment complex. Mary is very disrespectful and could care less about the tenants. Rick who runs the front office will no longer answer phone calls from my husband’s phone number, but only from my phone number. Rick says he can’t help us with anything, but then doesn’t like to tell us who can help us and just hopes that everything will go away and he won’t have any problems. First off, when we moved in they were telling the Post Office to take all our packages and everyone else’s back to the post office so that we would have to pay a fee for a secure box and by doing so, they were illegally keeping our federal mail from us and everybody in the apartment complex. We have an audio recording from the post office saying that our management told them not to deliver packages to that apartment complex so we would have to pay for extra mail boxes. Next, we had mold in our apartment for about two months, and we have proof that we wrote in a complaint about mold and all they did was come and spray vinegar and never got rid of it so my whole family had mold toxicity, and had to go to the doctor multiple times because of it. They decided to take a picture of the mold when we moved out and charge us for it. We have a video of their terrible plumbing that leaked water all over under the sinks (which we showed them) which was inevitably the cause of the black mold. According to our lawyer, mold has to be taken care of within three days of a complaint or it is legally their fault for any health problems or home damages. My husband and I also cleaned for seven hours before we moved out and left the apartment spotless and without damages, and they decided that we owed them money Instead of giving us any of our deposit back. We have a video of the apartment when we left to show how clean and undamaged the apartment was because we knew they would try to find any way to not give us our money back. If you want to live in a place where you’ll have to start a lawsuit, be sick because of mold, not receive your mail, and not get any of your deposit back then go ahead and live in this apartment complex, but if you want to avoid all that do not live here. We also know of two other units and tenants that have also had very similar experiences from this apartment complex and are in a lawsuit with them currently. When asking Rick about the mold, he brushed off all of our questions and would not give us firm answers when it came to us asking for rent back due to us having to move out to avoid mold poisoning. They also try and tell you exactly what you can put on your little outdoor patios that are blocked off specifically for your apartment. They say you cannot even put toys out there. The apartment complex is right next to a huge parking lot behind the theater and isn’t locked off. In this very parking lot two separate people tried to kidnap my two little toddler boys. I would like to say that the only good people that tried to help us in this apartment complex is the maintenance guy Ryan and his assistant. If anything, he should be running the place, and the other people should be fired. We feel that Ryan tried fixing the mold according to the managements instructions but knowing him he would’ve fixed it in a much more efficient and ethical way.
