- RARachel AOct 21, 20252.0Converge NW is a place to call home. It’s nice, peaceful, the grounds are kept and the units are a pretty good size. HOWEVER I will say I haven’t been 100% satisfied since moving in recently. 1. They should really consider an elevator. Those flights of stairs to the 3rd floor are no joke. 2. Day of move in? My freezer didn’t have an ice tray. Ice everywhere so I had to put in a maintenance request which was answered pretty quickly. 3. Ice maker stopped working. I was out of town when my home security camera saw maintenance come in to “fix it”. I arrived home a few days after, only to find my fridge was leaking and an awful smell coming from the fridge. I opened the fridge and to my surprise? ALL of my food was spoiled and growing mold. It was upsetting and disgusting. I put in a maintenance request of which was ignored until I decided to call the office to let them know what I came home to. They came and immediately replaced my fridge. I then called the office to see how we could rectify my groceries (as I just bought them before I went away for a few days) and they played the corporate card and blamed me for the fridge malfunctioning and said they would not reimburse me for my $230 groceries. When I say “they” I’m referring to specifically a lady named “Bri”. She was very rude and nonchalant about the whole situation. Anyway I will be deducting $230 from my rent next month. And if it becomes an issue? I’m glad to go to small claims court as I have pictures (fridge) and camera footage of maintenance coming in to “fix” the ice maker. Funny enough this all happened after they supposedly fixed it. The right thing for them to do would be to reimburse me. Gift card?? Something?. Anyway, we shall see how it plays out.
