Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend living here. The apartment itself is beautiful and the view is great, but the issues outweigh the positives. There is mold in my bathroom, ongoing problems with the sliding doors on the first floor and major security concerns. After a leak multiple door locks were damaged, people now enter the building freely, after the doors are suppose to lock at 5:00PM the mailroom was broken into with many packages stolen. I don’t feel safe going to the first or second floor alone after hours. It is very disappointing, not worth the price you pay.

The assistant manager is very unprofessional and will retaliate if you complain and tell you that you can't leave a negative review which is against the Consumer Review Fairness Act. She sent me numerous harassing emails that were very inappropriate and then lied about me calling the service manager a little Mexican which I never said. I have asked the service manager to stop calling me Sir as it is disrespectful and degrading he still refuses to do so. The next time he does it I will be contacting a lawyer and filing a lawsuit for harassment and requesting a no contact order. I have 6 months left on my lease and I honestly can't wait to move out because living here has been a nightmare. If I had the money I would have been out of the first 6 months. As another reviewer said DO NOT LIVE HERE!

Live here if you want mold coming out of the HVAC and growing on all of your belongings. Property will pretend to remediate correctly, but won’t cover your belongings although it’s coming out of the HVAC system. Several units are covered in mold and more and more continue to pop up. They put me into collection for $2,000 although it was inhabitable to live there and I have documented proof of them asking me not to reside in the building. I was ignored for over 2 months, then I was treated terribly by management and staff, as if I was the problem. I developed breathing issues and a rash all over my body.
The apartment is absolutely beautiful, probably the most beautiful in Des Moines, but it is NOT worth the health risk and the stress. DO NOT LIVE HERE.
