  Let me start by stating that I’ve been moving into newly built apartments for several years now & this by far been the worst experience. For starters the apartment was filthy, not clean whatsoever (even though they stated that it would be cleaned a week prior to move in). The balcony was filled with ants, bugs, dust and debris upon move in. I had to power wash & bleach it myself. Secondly, I started to see ants the first day I started moving things in. I brought it to the leasing staff’s attention and they sent pest control out only for me to find several crawling on the kitchen island and other areas a day later. They also suggested that pest control will continue to spray the apartment every Wednesday which will then only harm me, my child & pregnant girlfriend from inhaling the fumes which can cause short term to severe life threatening conditions. The flooring isn’t sealed which I mentioned to the office & the only response is that the building is new & has to settle in & they suggested to use Lysol & windex for the ants & that a 3rd party would have to come fix the flooring but was unable to give an eta. Never have I had to live in a bug infested apartment especially one that is supposedly brand new and never occupied. Ants are literally coming from under the flooring in numerous locations in each room. Imagine ants in your kitchen climbing on your counter while cooking! I’ve been here for a week & haven’t smiled once nor have I unpacked fully. I highly regret this move. We went to the office to discuss this issue with the property manager Cody who was in a meeting at the time so we scheduled a meeting to meet with him at 3pm, & instead of him showing any concern or reaching out, he had a co-worker call to inform us that he couldn’t make it & that he would call to coordinate a time to meet within the next hour and a half. We never received a call. He didn’t even have the decency to shoot us an email. We went home to discover more ants & also never received a call from Cody, which led to this review.

  Very happy with my choice to live at Amli Brookhaven! I toured a handful of places, and knew after the tour, that I wanted to live here. The complex is extremely well maintained, it’s brand new (huge plus), and well managed. Stephanie is awesome, and made my move in very smooth. The rest of the leasing office is very sweet. It was very important for me to find a dog friendly community, and my pup loves it here!

  I have family that lives here and the apartments are beautiful. They overlook the MARTA which I thought would be noisy but the building is well insulated stopping the excess noise from the train. I actually enjoyed watching it go by. This area will become more vibrant as they get restaurant and store tenants on the first floor.

  The community is nice and I love that’s it’s close to everything but a little off the beaten path. Moving in was a bit chaotic in that it was last minute and things were not fully set up for a move in. The community is new and the apartment was a bit dirty and not fully set up for move in. The staff has been great and responsive overall
