Honest Review: Unprofessional and Disrespectful Assistant Manager
I normally don’t write reviews, but after my recent experience, I feel future tenants and corporate need to be aware of what really goes on at this property especially regarding the assistant manager, Susan (or as many residents refer to her: “La Susana”).
I went to the leasing office to help a family member who asked me to assist because, frankly, dealing with management here is one of the main reasons he chose not to renew his lease. It was a simple visit — no issues at all when Susan wasn’t present.
I fully understand and respect that, as I’m not on the lease, they can’t disclose certain information to me. That’s fine. All that needed to be said was:
“I’m sorry, since you’re not listed on the lease, I can’t provide that information, but I’ll have Sebastian follow up directly with the tenant via email.” Literally, it was a final rent statement as a family member was being overcharged. All they had to do from the beginning was email it to them without the family member having to stay on top of management for being overcharged. Something so simple turned out to be something so big because La Susana doesn't have any self control.
That would’ve been perfectly acceptable — polite, respectful, and professional.
But instead, Susan chose to speak in a rude, nasty, and completely unprofessional tone. She was loud, disrespectful, and came across as though she needed to assert control by being aggressive — even when it wasn’t necessary. This isn’t about enforcing policy — this is about the way she talks to people.
Susan’s attitude is consistently rude, condescending, and abrasive, especially toward women. Her behavior raises real concerns about discrimination and bias, and she does not treat residents or even guests with the basic courtesy that should be expected in any professional setting.
It honestly feels like she uses her position as a way to take out personal frustrations. Maybe it’s because no one listens to her elsewhere, or maybe she’s just become so used to treating people poorly that she thinks it’s acceptable. But let me be clear — it’s not.
The reviews about management on this property speak for themselves, and Susan is frequently mentioned for her negative behavior. She is absolutely not an asset to this community. If anything, she damages its reputation.
For future tenants: be very cautious. The apartments may look nice on the outside, but dealing with office staff like this — especially someone as disrespectful as Susan — will quickly make your experience here frustrating and unpleasant.
Sebastian is not going to do anything, but I hope upper management/Corporate takes these concerns seriously.
Residents deserve better.
Experiencia muy negativa con la subgerente
Durante el proceso de firma del contrato, el trato fue amable. Sin embargo, una vez firmado, la actitud cambia totalmente. La subgerente, Susan (alias “La Susana”), se comporta de forma poco profesional, irrespetuosa y agresiva, particularmente hacia las mujeres.
Asistí a la oficina para ayudar a un familiar, y aunque entiendo que no puedo obtener cierta información por no estar en el contrato, esperaba una respuesta simple y cortés. En su lugar, Susan fue innecesariamente grosera y confrontativa.
Su conducta —ruda, condescendiente, y con rastros de discriminación— no contribuye, sino que daña la reputación de esta comunidad. No es ni amable ni profesional.
Futuros inquilinos: tengan precaución. Este tipo de trato desvirtúa una experiencia de vivienda que debería ser tranquila y respetuosa. Espero que la alta gerencia tome nota y actúe al respecto.
