We've been here for about 6 months now and we truly love it. The staff is so kind and attentive. Juan our maintenance fellow is awesome and will take care of anything you need!
The neighborhood is fairly quiet. The trees keep it reasonably cool even in the summer. The buildings are older than these more recent "luxury" apartment complexes, so visibly they're not as shiny and new of course. But they are more solid and secure. We also find them homey and comfortable compared to the other places we saw (and one we lived in).

My elderly father has lived there for a few years. We recently had to break the lease because my dad is unable to live alone going forward. We provided 2 recommendations from doctors and they stated that doesn’t matter. They asked that we pay 2 months rent and that if we didn’t, it would negatively affect his credit, he is 84.
The place has terrible landscaping near the apartments and the sidewalk entrances are very dangerous. Roaches are a HUGE concern.
Not very kind or caring management. Avoid at all cost!

The entire staff at Pierpoint Apartments in Port Orange are great. Tina in the leasing office is awesome. She always makes sure things look nice around the property. I also appreciate Juan and the maintenance staff for always responding so quickly to my request. They changed my A/C air filter today! Thanks guys. See you guys soon!
Let me preface this review by saying this is all first hand experience at pierpoint after living here for four years and living in a "classic unit which means you get an old janky unit and not a nice updated unit"
Pierpoint is a very meh complex, I have no hate towards anyone in the office at all I just wish for us living here so long we would have been treated a little better.
Okay so lets start off this review shall we, me and my husband live here currently for two more months, and let me tell you $1600 does not justify anything that we have in this unit. Speaking of the unit, its a classic unit which means nothing I updated so you get white appliances and no microwave... kinda bummer for paying so much right, well were not even in the niddy gritty.. The maintenance team is so laughable (with the exception of this new guy we have never met him) but they will come to your apartment and "fix it" and they never fix any of the problems at all in the four years we have lived here I have put in just by myself 33 tickets for them, most of which is the ac unit all they do is put a bandaid on it and fix it till you run out of freon, my ppl bill is 200 bucks sometimes more because they can't fix an ac unit and speaking of that our windows we can't close at all so there's always a crack and they told us last time we put a request in "we don't work on second floor windows you'll have to get a ladder and do it yourself". The spectrum internet sucks here, you have to share wifi with the whole property which I really don't like... sometimes you'll get fast speeds other time it sucks...
Now lets go on with the apartment on the first day we moved in, we had roaches everywhere and even a dead one in the sink. At the time we had a property manager Erica, and she said its normal because we live in Florida.... The apartment also had a strong cigarette smell which is bad if anyone was to be allergic...
Now on to the property, its not too bad but there's thing I wish they kept their promises on, every year they supposedly have an annual tree cutting but in the 4 years we lived here we have only seen it once..
Thank you for reading all this ill add attached photos!
*photos are showing the window, doors
*vinyal having a hump
*bath head coming off
*dryer door won't close after they "fixed it"
Update on my review after moving out:
I’m so glad to be out of pierpoint it is so nice having an apartment where the ceilings are 8 feet tall for the about the same price (as renewal) and guess what- FPL is much cheaper and me and my husband gained about an extra 700 square feet. Everyone in that office is rude and unprofessional also we just moved out and have had our forward in for a month before we moved out of pierpoint because I wanted to give it enough time to go through and so I went in on the third because I have an IMPORTANT letter that got mailed here and my forward didn’t catch it and Tina said “no we can’t but try contacting the post office” girl do you guys know how hard it is to reach the post office, and I know nobody moved in because the apartment has been vacant for only 2 days, so let me tell you guys RUN FAST AWAY FRON THESE APARTMENTS!

Pier Point is the perfect place to live. It is a quiet place, the residents are friendly, and have a perfect location (is very close to everything). The ladies at the leasing office are very kind, they always have a smile and help you with everything you need. The maintenance guys always make sure that everything in your apartment is good🤍
