When Brittney, Alicia & Colton worked here , they made sure the Tenants’ needs were met within a reasonable amount of time, including maintenance request & you felt safe living here!! Now!?!?! Not so much!! I pay approximately$1800.00 dolllars a month for what!?!?! This place is a 3 ring Circus!! I came home tonight at approximately 11:30PM!! The majority of the property is pitch dark, without ANY outside lights on!! I shouldn’t have to turn the Flashlight on my phone just to be able to SEE to get to my front door safely!!!! This is a VERY serious safety hazard for the Tenants!! Also it’s impossible to get in touch with Office Staff!! It took me to call The Lorient, which is a sister property, about not receiving a Lease Renewal & asked for them to call me!! Instead they decide to send over a 1 year Lease to be signed without calling me!! I called the office earlier today to ask them to send over a 6 month Lease & all you hear is Crickets!! No returned phone call!! No nothing!! In fact that’s EVERY time I call the office!! The reason why I want a 6 month Lease to sign, instead of a 1 year Lease is because we’re moving out of this HELL HOLE once we get our Income Taxes!! As far as the amenities that is included in the rent I.E. the Pool & Fitness Center?? They are NEVER working properly or up & running?? They are run down & broken!! Also when it rains, especially by Building 13, the one I live in, there’s at least 2 feet of water I have to wade through in order to get to my car!! This is unacceptable & a very unsafe living environment!!!!

The worst experience with any apartment complex I’ve ever seen. We were with the Emory for 1 year and it was nothing but stress and havoc. 2 dumpster fires, lawn always overgrown for months at a time, pools never in service because they don’t tend to it, and office staff never fulfilling requests or even answering the phone. And let’s not even bring up the raggedy dog park with a gigantic hole in the fence that was covered by BROKE dog toys. The Emory staff knows of these issues and more yet don’t concern theirselves with the comfortability to the people who pay SO MUCH to live there. After we THANKFULLY, moved out , I had made sure we had no outstanding balances with more than 1 worker AND the manager. So tell me why I get a letter in the mail for $60 sent to collections AFTER I MADE SURE THERE WERE NO BALANCES. They didn’t call us , They didn’t send us a letter ( they have our forwarding address) but instead sent us to collections. If you’re thinking about moving in here DONT. save yourself the troubles. The regional manager was made aware and said these things were going to be fixed and gave me $1000 off rent one month so if you put up with this as well I encourage you to get your rent prorated till they uphold their end of the lease of keeping it a comfortable facility to live in. The Emory can’t answer the phone but will answer to bad reviews in the same day, comedic

When I first moved in the emory was nice as well as the staff but now its just gone down hill. Ive been to the office in person and tried speaking to someone as well as calling and trying but I get nothing. i understand everyone is out and about doing what they need to do but at least 1 person should be in the office to take care of the people who are living here and needs to speak to someone. Another thing is the mold in the apartments, I didn’t realize it was mold until now that it has gotten worse! I saw it after a few months of living here but didn't think it was mold until i started getting sick recently and looked more into it. The last thing i want to bring up is how I have put a maintenance request in and i still somehow haven't had anybody come to do what i needed done whatsoever. Its says it the request was approved and completed but i don’t remember having anybody come in and check all this out. The new management is terrible and i do not recommend renting here, if i would have known before i would have looked somewhere else! I cannot wait for my lease to be over in May

I specifically told the leasing office to let maintenance know, not to enter, unless we were home. I was getting ready for work, just got out of the shower. I didn’t hear the first 2 knocks, by the 3rd one, I was running to the door and maintenance opened the door. Nothing was seen, as I shut the door right away. But it’s something that shouldn’t have happened in the first place. After this whole thing, maintenance never came back. We got a message saying the repairs were finished, but they were not. Put in another request, 2days later, we got a message saying it was finished.. it was not. Adding on. Our AC has been leaking for over a month now and we’ve put in multiple maintenance requests and they’ll still send an email saying it’s completed/fixed, when it is not. Don’t move here.
