- MCMichael ColonSep 10, 20251.0My Sales/purchase experience with the LPT agent was the worst I have ever had. The selling agent was not communicative, and in at least one instance was not truthful. I was the buyer on a cash transaction. No lender, no inspection, it just doesn't get much easier for a sales agent, or so I thought. I even elected to not include a buyer agent, in the hopes that the transaction would be more seamless. Let me provide an example. 2 days before the closing I requested the selling agent contact the buyers for an appointment for a final walkthrough. She told me that the buyers were out of town and that they could not be reached. I met the buyers at the closing. When I questioned where they had traveled to, they told me they had not gone anywhere and that the agent never contacted them with my request. This conversation took place in front of the agent. She just bowed her head and walked out of the room. Not good. Another example. I asked the agent to please provide me with a copy of the documents I had signed online for my records. Didn't get that either. The whole experience was one of defiance and lack of transparency. I have been in many closings in my life. This one will always stick out in my mind, and not for good reasons. This experience may have been isolated to this particular sales agent. As a consumer/customer, whatever the case may be, every agent represents the Broker and the firm. P.S There were "hiccups" with the title company as well during the closing, but they were quick to resolve any issues with both the buyer and sellers. Respectfully MC
