Good place to live but way too many amenities out of order. The fire pit has not worked for more than 2 years as well as the gate. The secondary pool also hasn’t had functioning grills for more than 3 months and are still broken. Half of the office doors don’t work during and after hours which has been a continuous problem.

Day 7 of the reef not sending out a professional to fix the mold infestation in my apartment. I’ve had to sleep in my car for the past week for they have offered 0 accommodations and no compensation.

I can't think of a single good thing about living here. I lived here from August of 2024 to August of 2025. I lived in a two bedroom unit and paid to have my small dog there with me. My first roommate moved out early, but during her time with me she had two cats and her boyfriend living with us which was undisclosed to me. I received zero help from the complex regarding the situation and for about 4 months, I wasn't able to bring the pet that I was paying for. That same roommate left behind many items and damages that I didn't want to be responsible for. After trying to be proactive in more than one way to avoid being held responsible for these damages, I still ended up having to pay $115 for her carelessness. I spoke to the front office employees regarding the damages and was told to email photos so they could handle it. I had to follow up consistently just to be told to submit the photos again as pdfs, and eventually had to call to speak to a manager Kelly, who apparently is no longer an employee there. During our phone call, Kelly reassured me that my new roommate and I would not be held responsible for paying any fees regarding those items/ damages. After speaking with her I attempted to follow up with an email, and I received a very nasty and condescending response from a front desk employee telling me that "this would be the last time" they talked to me about the issue. Since, I'm assuming, my email never made it to Kelly, there was no formal documentation of our conversation. The new management wouldn't waive the $115 fee that both my new roommate and I received upon move out due to this error on the previous employees part. I was also charged for someone else's trash cans after talking directly to the trash pick up company and the Reef front office. I had to call multiple times to have the fee waived. This place is absolutely ridiculous and such a money grab.
I was hoping to live at the Reef for the rest of my college career, however the absolute disregard for the residents was enough to make me want to move. I'm currently living in a neighboring community and have been treated with much more respect and professionalism.
