They wanted a $300 "earnest fee" to apply for an apartment that they wouldn't even give me a tour for because "it was their policy not to give tours of apartments while tenants were still in them." So they wanted several hundred dollars to apply for an apartment that I couldn't even see. You shouldn't trust companies that take advantage of their customers like this. *edit* Read their response below. Complete corporate whitewashing. Declining to take responsibility for their bad business practice, and simply offering to re-state their existing policy that takes advantage of customers. This is not a company that you can trust.

A great location in the city near transit and new grocery stores, very clean and pest-free. Older-style charming apartments, not some "luxury" new build, but those are notorious in DC for major problems. 4115 is reliable, affordable, and no stress to live here. Pet friendly, with VERY responsive management for any issue. I feel very at home here.
